Evan Carother's stuff is always pretty good.

I particularly like his Hero's Hoard line up. Which I need to add a Lincoln to my pledge as I need the farm pieces for my We Be Heroes (goblin) game.

I am always so tempted by these Kickstarters because .stl files don't take up shelf space.

Unfortunately I don't own a printer though, so I'd just be stockpiling them for some hypothetical future, and that seems unwise.

Maybe when the kids get older and the technology has continued to mature we'll get one if my kids are still as interested in painting as they seem to be now.

I've backed a few of these despite not owning a printer yet. It's a 2020 goal, though. Here's hoping I pull it off.

Printers have come a long way, even in the last 2 years - I bought my first one in mid 2017, and it was an absolute pain to run. Bought two more in the past 9 months and I haven't had a problem with either of them yet (and they've both done more printing in the last 6 months than that first one did in the 18 months I had it)

Both the printers I'm running now were cheaper than that first one (I'm excluding my resin printer, as it's a different beast)

Mine are stockpiling up at Thingiverse.

I figure I'll buy a .stl file when I need to. I'm seeing a good number of free .stl files for stuff I'd like to build.
