Original_Carl 294 Report post Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) Second post, but I painted this one first. This is my first Very Large Model. I used Green Stuff to fill the gaps in his back -- also my first time using that. :) These camera close-ups are much less forgiving than the gaming table. Thanks in advance for your advice and critique. -Carl Edited September 9, 2019 by Original_Carl Fixing photos. Learning to post.

Original_Carl 294 Report post Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) It could be because I'm embedding the pics rather than putting in links, and I see that both of your are outside North America. Again, sorry you can't see him. How about these? BLZeebub 2535 Report post Posted September 8, 2019 In US here and I can't see the pics either, but the links work fine. Nice, vibrant colors. They remind me of some real world tropical snake...or maybe a frog. But those deep, tonal greens contrast nicely with the base and pink mouth parts. Cicciopiu 4254 Report post Posted September 8, 2019 If you are using your googledrive you have to make the pics public. I like the vibrant colors, is something different than what I'm used to see; as @BLZeebub already said, it remind tropicals reptiles. Good job!

I showed a painting buddy of mine when I was still in WIP and he said, "You should have based him purple and called him Barney." I nearly went and made a Simple Green bath on the spot. Still I like him green. I was inspired by the American Alligator, especially the young ones.

Well, sounds like a good excuse to pick up another one! This one looks quite lovely in green.
