How I feel at work.

Hey now, you still have one eye, keep going!!!

^_^

Also question in regards to this the entire inktober thing. Can you backtrack to catch up? I've always wanted to do this but I never do. I just wouldn't feel a proper event if I didn't do them all.

Thank you for the quick response. I may have to acquire a small drawing pad.

I'm stealing time at work to get pop in and out, no opportunity to set up to draw again today and I won't be home til around 9pm tonight, so I've finished one so fat. Tomorrow night's going to be the same way.  Sooooo this weekend I will be popping out a bunch of sketches probably.

This is entirely, 100% just for S&Gs. Do it however you like, using whatever medium you like. Spend 5 minutes, or 1 minute, or 63.5 minutes or whatever... ENJOY!!

A VERY quick sketch today, I have errands this evening. "Trickster+Giant Sequoia Tree." I've always thought the big redwoods that you can drive a car through were, in addition to being gorgeous and wonderful, also terrifying. So, here's a very large mimic:

Yeah, no apologies needed, you're doing it! That's good enough.

Day 3, "Trickster".

I think it’s okay to jump in any time. I’ve seen quite a few people just do a few that catch their fancy. And if you’d like to do them all, but catch up later, that’s fine too.

... I had been a little stumped for an idea for the 6th prompt, “In The Walls,” and I just remembered I’m playing in a Mage game set in Berlin in 1989. ::P:

I imagine there are mimics in dungeons that have successfully ambushed adventurers. With each successful hunt, the nourishment provides them with growth, intelligence, and more elaborate disguises. This mimic is the rug and all the things on it.

That is an interesting way to hide treasure. One or two of the items on the rug could be “props” (actual undigested goods) and others could be a copy of something that will only be revealed if the Mimic is defeated and dissected.

I got started on something for the prompt word “Bait” but didna finish it within the day. So it might turn up later.

This is Reaper's Elise the Witch.
      SKU. 02863 ( Metal Figure)

Once she was part of a big Halloween Diorama but that didn't survive the move.
I was able to save the minis though.

I rebased her, gave her some highlights/ repainted parts.
She's back in action now, ready to turn you into a frog or a willing servant.

I’m not usually big on terrain painting, but I thought this would be a good cap off for my month of spoooooky minis..

Welcome to Getting to Know You, NOVEMBER 2020 Edition.

The rules as they currently stand ( we all know most of you rebellious lot will ignore most of it, but one can try)

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question.
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and post one...
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted between 8:00 hours and 12:00 hours CET. ( Central European Time)
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to me...
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why can be fun...unless TMI).
      7. Weekend questions will usually take the form of two or three day quests, starting on Friday or Saturday.
