Flesh Construct (Wyrd)

Recommended Posts

The alternate sculpt for the Flesh Construct for Malifaux from Wyrd Miniatures. Picked this one up awhile ago and after the undead troll I decided to paint him up. The sculpt was pretty good for a metal miniature, the face was a bit muddy on the right side and I had no luck attaching the left hand. So I left it on the base as if it fell off. 20190926_001314.thumb.jpg.df5967fdcb62b699641127b3fd763efd.jpg

I'd love to hear what you all think.

Great muscle tissue, brains, and good work on the hook! Very good base, too.
Only thing I might do is put a little more contrast on the glove.

I agree, the fallen hand really adds to the story told.

I like the hoses with the red and blue liquids going down the drain, looks real.

The missing hand lying on the floor is very cool. I thought it was the way the model was and I likely would not have seen the hand on the floor had you not mentioned it.

I am also glad it is not be who has a tough time gluing metal bits on a tiny surface area.

What was the purpose of not leaving that hand attached in the first place?!?!?

Pinning is offen necessary but also impractical for tiny parts.

I'm not sure why the hand was separate. Very annoying.
