Last month I said I wanted to:

Do *something* French Revolution related

Finish 4 1/72 scale spearmen needed to base up the last units for one of my campaign armies

Work on some vintage Middle Earth stuff

This month I STILL need to:

Do *something* French Revolution (besides casting, which I did get done)

Finish the blasted 1/72 spearmen

Finish a unit of 8 Romano-British spearmen in 25mm home cast

Paint some 28mm urban fantasy figures

Continue the vintage Middle Earth project; I have 8 orcs and a dozen goblins primed

I'm going to keep it simple this month.

  • Get something painted/based/assembled. Preferably more than one thing
  • Find commission sculptor to do some minis for 3d printing for me...

Keeping with my 2019 goals, in October I plan to:

  1. Paint a catperson bard for my friend
  2. Paint a Hasslefree miniature from the annual box
  3. Paint sci-fi figure from the annual box
  4. Paint this month's Mithril miniature from the annual box

My long term goals for 2019:

Paint all the figures in the annual box ( I am down to 6)

Continue my current Rangers of Shadow Deep campaign and perhaps work on two mini campaigns

Paint three entries for miniature painting competitions this year. It has increased to five. (4 down and that is as far as I got)

Run a Call of Cthulhu game for my roleplaying group

Paint character minis for all the players in my D&D group. (on track with seven)

Paint a Mithril miniature each month (on track with nine)

My goals:

Mostly continuing to move through metal. I have... too much still, after this Reapercon, and while I started the year off with a bang last month, I need to finish more stuff if I want to have it mostly cleared through by next Reapercon... *laughs in unfinished minis*

That said, for next month specifically:

- Nagendra Warriors. I have ten of them, all primed up and ready to go. I'm going to do like four or five different scale patterns, based on a big variety of snakes, so I'll have to see how long this takes.

- Seven Lizardfolk. The nice ones, that came out in Bones first. Wish these came in more varieties, but oh well. I have bowmen and club guys, and that will have to be enough.
- Frogpeople. I have five of the little cute ones to do up as poison toad types.

-Centaurs. Five of them - two spearwomen, two of the big man with the bow, and the cleric with the staff.

That would be a very successful 27 minis, but I'd also like to keep making progress on my cultists! If I could hit around 30-40 minis, I'd be very happy with this month... and need to order a new Battlefoam case in November!

Haven't put any paint on the brush this week, but got a handful of figures spray coated, and another handful primed.  Assembled 6 multipart figures for the paint-n-take next year, and primed a whole bunch of metal and plastic.   Noticed when i went to put figures away that there were some I did not get photos of, so those are waiting for a good sunny day.  Planning to spend tomorrow painting.
