I have been working on my contrast while painting- 

 

I love this sculpt!

 

This was shot with 2 different lighting setups- which one does everyone prefer?

Number 2.  While the lighting in number 1 looks like a nicely painted mini, number 2 almost looks alive and it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable (in a good way).

I like both lighting - 1 shows off your painting, and as other have said 2 is the proper mood for this horror. Contrast looks pretty good - but you might want to think of how to put a line or contrast between figure and base, it blends in a bit at the hooves. Great mini!

Well painted and nice transitions on the body. The contrast is spot on to delineate the details and surfaces. I like both pics for the reason s mentioned above, but the second one is my favourite.
