AR.. not so much, unless you count dreams, but in the end reality is hard enough with out throwing in anything else. Does the Inktober count? I am not a drawing person, I was trianed as a draftsman, that I can do, but draw, well as you can see from the ones I have done, they are crude, good enough to get my point across, but no one will ever pay me to draw. 4 hours ago, TaleSpinner said: October 21: Do you like foods containing pumpkin (real pumpkin, not just pumpkin spice) and if so, what is your favorite? eh, i do not really care.. I might have a slice of pumpkin pie, but usually requires a lot of whipped cream and i would rather not eat that much.

It's usually served sliced into pieces. It's basically a yule log cake, if that helps.

It wasn't new but it was the first time since after surgery. I walked home. I waited for the subway to produce a train that wasn't packed full of sneezy people like sardines seasoned with da flu. I waited 20 minutes, several trains went by. Before surgery I wouldn't have attempted the subway, it was only a mile and a half to get home. After surgery I'm still in that state where if I walk too much I get woozy and I will knife fight you for a seat on the train. I gave up waiting and walked home. A mile and a half. And paid for it all yesterday I'm still sore tbh. But I made it. 5

Oh, yes I've had it that way, too, it was quite nice with the dark greens and vinaigrette. Coincidentally, I was in the Netherlands at the time. :) Most people associate the taste of pumpkin spice with pumpkin, but the two do not taste anything alike. Pumpkin is a fairly mild vegetable and lends itself well to sweet and savory applications because it takes on other flavors very well. Pumpkin roll: https://www.meals.com/imagesrecipes/32372lrg.jpg Never had one myself because I'm sure it has too much sugar for my taste, and probably that dreadful spice mixture in it.

Check the bakery department in the area where they have "fresh baked" breads and cookies.

While I like the spices that make up pumpkin spice individually or even a few together, I don't really care much for the entire blend. I've never really cared much for pumpkin pie either. I like a good pumpkin roll, so that is probably my favorite. I like savory squash dishes so I could potentially like one made with pumpkin, but have never tried any. There is currently a butternut squash sitting on my counter, waiting for me to get the energy to do something with it.

I was just brainstorming on behalf of anyone that dislikes cream cheese icing. Is Nutella the same as a Hazelnut spread? For myself, I like cream cheese icing. I’ve heard of hazelnuts, but never heard of pumpkin rolls before today. I do know a place that makes something they call Roulade. Looks like this: They also do a chocolate version where the filling stays the same but the cake switches to chocolate, the icing on top is chocolate, the decorative piping is white icing. Within the search results when I was trying to find the Roulade I found a pumpkin roll recipe that had a different fillling (ginger butter creme?): https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/pumpkin-roulade-with-ginger-buttercream-recipe-1942815 Ginger buttercreme might be no better than cream cheese icing (really need a shrug smiley) IDK. Here is the picture of the finished confection:

The broken, old, dodgey, not-sure-it-works anymore, items now outnumber those still functioning. 4
