Loim
@TaleSpinner I'm sorry to hear it. That's a rough road. This just reiterates my belief that the world is full of bastards, the number increasing rapidly the further one gets from Forty Four, Arkansas. 5
Glitterwolf
@TaleSpinner that's awful! My sympathies to the parents and I hope the ordeal will soon be over and the culprit will be convicted.
Kuroneko
I'm so sorry that you and your friends are having to go through all that @TaleSpinner. Really hope the jury see through all the lies and send that person away for as long as possible. I've never actually been involved in a trail, but I've been close. Almost got jury service, but the powers that be spelt my name wrong on the official paperwork. Then there was the time I was called as a witness for an 'incident' that happened at work due to an ex colleague, but they ended up pleading guilty so I just got a nice day off instead.

Not really, since they tend to go from a short nap to a good night of sleep if I do, however when I've been really sick I have been known to take the occasional nap.

Probably the dragon from DDS2, though whatever one I am currently working on ranks pretty high. I also love Mal' Drakar, Stormwing, and the new white? and shadow dragons coming in Bones V. Let's face it, I like a lot of dragons. That said, there are also a lot I hate (mostly ones with wonky or too human anatomy/proportions). 4 minutes ago, TaleSpinner said: October 26-27: Do you take naps? Yes. I often take a short (20 to 30 min) nap after getting home from work. I find that it helps me be far more productive in the evening.

I was just eying that one! I might buy that one next month or in December. I also like the WizKids Young Green Dragon - it has a similar pose but he’s smaller and flying, banking to the right. Wyrmgear is pretty cool too. I haven’t painted a dragon yet, but have a few in my backlog. I’ve started napping occasionally when I have time, usually on weekend days when I get too little sleep or get up very early to do a long run.

Loim
My favorite dragon mini is from the Bridge of Sorrows diorama by Ral Partha/Iron Winds. Naps are a big staple of my life, and severely underrated.
malefactus
24 minutes ago, TaleSpinner said: October 25: What's your favorite dragon mini? I am not fond of Dragons. Most of the dragons I have painted over the years were from a time when lead was a major component of miniatures. Dragons were wrist breakers. AND I painted a LOT of dragons for other Folks. HOWEVER, I do like Jabberwockies & Faerie Dragons. I recently picked up a Grenadier Shire Dragon; he/she/whatever is my current favorite. 24 minutes ago, TaleSpinner said: October 26-27: Do you take naps? Yes. To be a certified, card carrying Old Man, particularly we of the Crazy Old Man variety, you are required to take a minimum of one nap a day. Actually, I am one of those Folk that can't seem to sleep through the night; ergo, a nap makes up for some of that lost sleep.

The only one I've I've actually completed painting, Lavarath, because it is painted. I'm fond of most of them, but they remain unassembled and unpainted. But clockwork dragons are probably my absolute favorites. Still very happy with my Wyrmgear. And looking forward to painting the WizKids clockwork dragon fairly soon. Naps? Not really. Usually if I'm super tired and I try to take one I end up feeling worse after. Oh, unless we're counting dozing off in the recliner while watching a show or race.....that happens far too often these days.....
Thoramel
35 minutes ago, TaleSpinner said: October 25: What's your favorite dragon mini? October 26-27: Do you take naps? I'm not sure how to answer that? I mean I really like almost all the dragon and dragon-ish stuff I've painted. I guess, if I have to come up with something, it would either be the DDS2 dragon or the Sandra Garrity Amber Dragon that's being offered in the core of the current KS. The DDS2 dragon because my players have named her Bubbles and keep trying to adopt her (this has so not worked out and she's killed one of their characters as a result). The Amber dragon is for nostalgia reasons. Naps? Oh heck yeah. Sometimes I'm powerless to stop it. I'll come home from a long day hiking all over the place and sit down in a comfortable chair and then my dogs jump on me and I am out.

Don't have a favourite dragon mini, they're one of the few fantasy creatures that just don't appeal to me. I also don't take naps. Unless I'm feeling seriously unwell, I find it impossible to sleep during the daytime.
Evilhalfling
I have 2 fav dragons, both come with stories. The DDS2 dragon - I dedicated a solid week to painting her over my 42nd birthday. (including the terrain) It was so much fun just throwing myself into the hobby. It was a gift to myself. afterwards she sat for two weeks I decided - I can do better. After another week of less frantic painting, I was totally happy with the result. The other is a kyphixis? named "Insominia" she was painted almost entirely between 10 pm and 6 am. (over several weeks). She was done as a rainbow (3 color) challenge and I kept waking up in the middle of the night or early morning with new things I wanted to try.
