Reaper Bones 5: Information Thread

I wasn't sure where to put this, but within the pledge manager the image for Henchmen & Hirelings is not showing up. :)

Also, there were beautiful images from Bones 4 here: https://www.reapermini.com/bones4. Is there something similar in the works for Bones 5? I loved having those images to add to my personal spreadsheet.

Thanks!

Hi. I’m sorry if this has been answered elsewhere and I couldn’t find it.

I’ve never been involved in a Kickstarter before and unfortunately only discovered this one two days after it finished. I’ve signed up with the Pledge Manager (as a “late backer” I guess) and chosen three items (Core Set, Dungeon Dwellers and Greek Odyssey) and... now what?

Will someone email me with an invoice? If so, will that occur during this same period that the official backers are being charged or at some later date? Since I’ve backed late but within the 2 week payment reconciliation period at the end of the Kickstarter, will my chosen items cost as advertised or will they incur a higher fee?

Thanks for any help.

The pledge manager is not officially open yet, and it will probably open in a couple of weeks or so. Once it opens, you can choose your items, pay shipping and get an invoice. Unfortunately late backers do pay more, but it is far less than retail, so you are still getting a good deal.

I am confused.

I pledged $1 so that I could buy add-ons and such.  On the pledge manager, I added $70 of additional items.  There is a notation, somewhere, that, at some date in the future, I will have the opportunity to actually make the purchase.  However, my pledge amount on KS remains at $1. The quote above addresses choosing items,  paying shipping, and receiving an invoice, but it does not explain when and to whom the $70 is to be paid.

Should I add the $70 to my pledge now, or wait until the Pledge Manager activates and bills me for the $70?

I don't want to miss out on these items.

Thanks for the help everyone.

If I’m understanding things correctly, as a late backer I will eventually be invoiced (to my email address I assume since the Pledge Manager doesn’t allow me to input any other personal information) a slightly higher than Kickstarter price for those items I have selected in the Pledge Manager.

I’ve kinda stretched the budget on these items so I just want to clarify that invoice date so I’m not caught off-guard.

The FAQ mentions that the Pledge Manager will stay open for approximately 6 months from November 2019 and everyone is able to amend their selections during that time. Does that mean I (and everyone else who adds to their order I guess) won’t be invoiced until that date 6 months in the future?

As the Reaper Bones 5 Pledge Manager has not yet opened,

the current step we are in is to wait for it to be opened.

If you did not make a pledge through Kickstarter during the window of time the project was live on Kickstarter, you are considered a late backer and will be charged a slightly increased rate, generally 25-50% higher, however it will still be less than the items will be available at retail.

The Pledge Manager is not yet open.  Once it does open, you will need to complete your selection by checking out.  During the checkout process you will be charged for your purchase.  There is no separate invoice, it is like an online store purchase.

Once the project ends and the money is collected, it is too late to change your pledge in either direction.  Any additional additions are handled through the Pledge Manager once it opens.

Hello,

I’m new around here (finally starting to get into painting minis after years of wanting to. Now I just have to find some people to play with!) and I have a question.

I missed the Kickstarter but was able to sign into the PM website. I know that I will be moving in the summer, but I don’t know where to yet. Will there be a way to change my address before shipping so that it will go to my new place? (It will still be in the same country and state.)

Thanks!

Yes. You will be able to, and expected to, keep your shipping address current in the RB5PM.

As the RB5PM is not yet open, the update address feature may not yet be accessible.

UPDATE #82

Update: November 15, 2009 - New Renders

Reaper MiniaturesCreator
November 15, 2019

The time is really flying by!

We are currently in the process of wrapping up sculptures for the Core Set, Expansions, and Options. This week, we have a few of those new sculpts to show you:

First, this is the render of the Satyr from the Greek Expansion to show you; the Kickstarter graphic shows the art by Izzy "Talin" Collier, and this is the render by Christine Van Patten. This is mostly final, with only a small tweak or two left to do.

Next, we have male and female Wildkin by Bobby Jackson, from the Fan Favorites Expansion.

Here are three of the Robots from the Chronoscope Expansion; these were designed by Chris Lewis. Note that these are shown on tabs, but the final models will be based on round plastic bases.

And finally, here's Murkillor the Wraith King by Bobby Jackson, from the Core Set. Murkillor was designed by Izzy "Talin" Collier.

As mentioned above, we're wrapping up sculpting. We still have quite a few pieces of art to assign to sculptors. We'll keep backers up to date with our regular Kickstarter updates. Once the sculpting is all done, we'll be sending the models to our overseas manufacturing partners.

Reaper Pledge Manager Update

We're still waiting on Kickstarter to send us our backer information; as soon as that's done, we'll be synching up the Reaper Pledge Manager. Look for updates here. Once the RPM is open, we will make an Update stating this.

Bones 5 Live!

To support Bones 5, we're streaming  Bones 5: Live! every Friday on Twitch. You can catchBones 5: Live! Fridays at 3:00 pm CST, and Reaper Live! every Thursday at 6:00 pm CST here:https://www.twitch.tv/reaperminiatures

UPDATE #83

Happy Holidays to Our Wonderful Backers!

user avatar
Reaper MiniaturesCreator
December 6, 2019

Happy Holidays everyone!

The Holiday Season is our busiest time of year. When combined with the Kickstarter campaign, this just means we've got quite a lot on our plates.

Progress Report

Not much to report here just yet. We're still finishing up our sculpting; we've gotten quite a bit done, but there are still a few pieces left to finish up before sending the files overseas. Once the files are overseas, masters will be made and then test shots will get run. We'll continue to update our backers here as these steps move forward.

Speaking of sculpting, we have two new renders to show you. These two models are from the Fan Favorites Expansion, specifically model numbers 927 Hellborn Paladin and 928 Female Landsknecht. First, let's take a look at the concept art of the Hellborn Paladin by Izzy "Talin" Collier.

Hellborn Paladin

Here's the digital render by Tom Lishman, who did a wonderful job translating Talin's art.

Now for the Landsknecht, concept art by Talin.

And here's the render by Tom Lishman. Note that the model will come with  both head options.

Thanks to both Izzy and Tom for a job well done!

Reaper Pledge Manager Update

The Reaper Pledge Manager is right on the edge of being ready to open up again next week. Initially, the RPM will only take credit cards for late backers or those backers who wish to add to their pledges. We expect the Paypal option to be functioning very shortly after the RPM goes live.

Look for a Kickstarter Update next week when the RPM goes live!

Another "what if" that could become a "what is".

I have had my RPM activated and have been billed.  I paid.

Suppose I decide I wanna buy more.  Can I?  And, if I can, how do I go about it?

You can just add more stuff to your cart and check out again.  It’s smart enough to calculate the additional shipping cost for your entire order due to the additional items.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.

      Story
Wellcome to our biggest miniatures ever! Blood and Skulls ork rider is the largest and more detailed miniature in 70 mm scale that Nocturna models released in all of these years. This project is really monstruous and we need your help to fund it.
Take a look at all the figures in the campaign, all of them are in 70 mm scale. Blood and Skulls is 28 cm high!
        28 cm total size

I've bought everything this company has put out so far.  I'll probably pick up these two as well.  Really great figures based on classic artwork.

These two are both nude, so I can't show pictures here!

"The muses" is a range of miniatures offered by Golem Miniatures.
These 80 mm scale figures, in limited edition, will all come from realistic and oriental paintings of great painters of the nineteenth, a period that we greatly love.
During the fourth campaign "The muses", we had suggested that you submit ideas for the next muses. A vote had then been put in place to decide between the 27 muses that you had selected.
One muse dominated this vote: "La boîte à bijoux" painted by Guillaume Seignac.
To accompany it, a second muse has been chosen on the same theme: "human skin on animal skin". You will discover it below, hoping she inspires you! :)

During the third Muses campaign, we produced the magnificent Lady Godiva painted by John Collier, a famous English painter and one of the founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Here is another of his works: "Lilith" painted in 1889.
Lilith is a mythical Hebrew and Biblical figure (Adam's first wife), whom some see as the very first portrayal of feminism in history.

      Story
I'm Adam Sadler, senior game designer at Blacklist Games, and I love miniatures. They are what got my brother Brady and me into the hobby back when we were teenagers. Whether we’re using them in roleplaying games, board games, or tabletop miniatures games, we love collecting, assembling, painting, and playing with them. While Blacklist Games has published several of our games that feature miniatures, they saw our passion could be used for the creation of a new division that would focus solely on miniatures and allow for company growth in parallel with creating great board games. With everyone at the company excited about the possibility of this new division, here we are to share it with you!
Blacklist Miniatures will focus entirely on producing high quality, highly detailed, pre-assembled plastic miniatures to be used in any type of game. Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1, our first miniatures line, is not only a celebration of our love for miniatures, but also of all things fantasy.
With your support, this campaign will not only bring this project to life, but also open the door to other lines of miniatures in various genres and even new games to utilize them!
