I use Anycubic Photon and it really stinks when I use it, that is why ventilation is really important when placing it.

Are you using the Clear resin, or possibly one of the translucent resins?

The Clear is the real stinker.

The Grey is much less stinky, and holds better detail than the clear.

I believe I found the cause of my issues. You know how the FEP films come with a protective plastic covering that you need to remove before installation? Because I did not.

And for the record, the protective plastic does not play well with prints.

I believe someone else also in this thread did that same error when they first started printing.

I believe it was @Glitterwolf, as they removed one side of the protective stuff, but not the other, and experienced the exact same issue.  About a month and a half to two months or so ago?

Guilty as charged!

I only removed one side of mine, it did print but with a lot of noise/suction etc, and after a failed print ( after a few good ones) I discovered that.

The good side, nothing is wrong with your printer or settings.

This Patreon thing is getting dangerous...

I am SO glad that you are posting fantasy patreons and not sci-fi (-5 to will save) or  steampunk (-10) or *shudder* tanks and/or BSRs (-20).....

In other news, ordered more filament....28/32mm sky ships take a LOT of filament.......

Thankfully, since it resides in the hard drive you don't have to worry about storage space anywhere near as much, eh?

Well....if this keeps up I might need another external hard drive

Very nice value in that one.

(I just noticed the not-Nothic mini in the 3rd pic, under the wolf-lizard thing)

There are 3 not nothics in there.

And as for the value,. they will add a pirate set with ship this month as well.

So...wow...

And some wonder why I'm going right for an 8-bay NAS box, probably with 6-12TB Seagate Iron Wolf drives in it...

Oh, right. It'll be for backing up video too, which goes poof at an alarmingly fast rate when you're recording 400Mbps All-I DCI 4k...

But yeah, I can see STL's taking up space rapidly, especially the higher detail ones...

I just got an external SSD to run World of Warcraft off of after their new recommended specs for the expansion, but I'm switching most of the 3D printing stuff to there as well.

You're right, I didn't even notice the 2 in front. It must be the orange used for the renders. As I'm seeing things new each time I look at those pics.

Go for WDs. They're good.

I have 2x 4TBs, and 1x 12TB in my Synology, and a slot free.

(Bought the 12TB when the single 4TB Seagate in there started getting finnicky. It was one recycled from a 'MyBook' unit)

I hope the price of 12TB or larger drives have dropped a bit by next summer, because I intend to replace the two remaining 4TB drives then.
