haldir
Well, I've switched over to the clear resin (Elegoo brand) I got a couple weeks ago. Hopefully everything prints out in a few hours (5 tubes & a smoke/mist creature mini). I poured a bit extra into the vat, so if this print out like the grey resin has been, I'll just find some other things that could use clear in them. I know I have a Mandalorian & Grogu stl with Gro' hovering next to him, I could print, but I don't want to just print those two out. I can see where having to clean the vat each time to change colors would be a major pain in the rear thou. While I'm not having any problems with nfep right now, I did notice it's not the "freshest" looking piece of clear plastic out there, when I cleaned out the last bit of grey from it. I may or may not change it out when I do switch back to regular grey resin.
Olaf the Stout
I’m planning on trying out some clear resin in the near future too. I’ve made several build plates of STLs that would look great printed clear. I’m going to change my isopropyl over to completely fresh batch when I’m ready to print those so that the isopropyl wash doesn’t make the print cloudy.

I just changed my DA about a month ago. I think if it clouds up the prints, I can always print anther & replace the wash.

So I may as well take advantage of the timing.
sumbloke
I haven't noticed any clouding on my translucent green resin after switching from white or grey. But completely clear would probably be more noticeable if anything were to happen.
Ratmaster2000
It's not so much the alcohol wash as it is the curing. I still haven't got the time dialed in, but it is pretty low because I have had them cloud at as low as 1.5 minutes per run (3 minutes total basically).
haldir
Tubes & the smoke monster mini print out perfectly. While the tubes aren't see through, they'll work for the minis/scenery that I plan to use them for.
haldir
Anyone know if MMF is going to have a sitewide sale upcoming anytime soon? Spring based sale or something? I picked out a bunch of stls for my RCon pregens & it's a bit more then I thought it'd be, ha ha.

As I don't do the dungeon tiles set up + my fdm printer is sitting unused right now. I think the one major factor in deciding might be the battery cover thing he has made for the torches. I can use something like that for my RCon games. Also having been a previous backer of his projects I've got a special discount in hand. So we'll see. Speaking of RCon, I've decided to look deep into my stl archives/3d folder & I've made some changes for the pre-gens. Since, doing that I've been able to slash the price of the stl cart on MMF.
Olaf the Stout
Saturn 2 owners, what did you use as a spacer when changing your FEP? My original FEP got a hole last night, so I need to swap mine over.

They usually have a Spring Sale, Summer Sale, Halloween Sale, Winter Sale and then some Flash Sales as well.

I couldn't remember if they had a spring sale or not. I guess I can hold off a bit, before buying the rest. I mean I trimmed it down from $75 to 43 with the archive searching. Nice thing too is really I'll only need a couple of maker's codes as most of them are from the same makers.
