Has anyone seen a creepy looking centipede with a human head/face stl anywhere?

One thing about getting new adventures, possibility of not out yet miniatures.....

I want to say that I have seen one in an Asian themed set... but damned if I can remember which one.

Looking at the Grievesborough Kickstarter. My favorite detail on the buildings is the way they use hanging corpses as decorations. No way could I use those for Mordheim....

One thing that stands out, for the miniatures that are included with the buildings they are calling out that they are compatible with One Page Rules, not GW.

One Page Rules plays nicley with others....

I just searched for 'centipede' on MMF.

Yah I did the search as well but nothing with a face came up.  The only one that would work is the one wrapped around whatever that is & even then I'm not so sure. The centi-humans won't work.

Another possibility is kitbashing - either using a head from a plastic mini, cut so the face is there but not the back of the head, or - if you have more skill than I do - combining the two in a 3D modeling program. (I know it can be done, but not how. I will drop a line to Megan, she has a lot more skill in these things.)

I saw Epic has a centi with a rounder head. I thought about doing something with that one, maybe. Like you said, kitbash a face on to the mini.

Wow, while browsing for some random encounter I need to make up for this Weds (party has cleared out the temple- sorta, but they now are faced with getting back home - underdark, no way of knowing which way Saltmarsh is.....) & I came across this Tribe(r):

They do great stuff.  I've printed a few of their freebies off Printables.

It’s crazy how fast technological advances are being made in the 3D printer space.

I won’t be upgrading my resin printer or getting an FDM printer any time soon, but both Anycubic and Elegoo announced 12K printers that can print 19 microns (my Saturn 2 is about 27 microns, equal to the detail level of GWs hard plastics).

The Anycubic one will have automatic bed levelling and both printers will print 2-4 times the speed of my Saturn 2.

The new FDM printers being announced by several companies will print about 5 times the speed of current FDM printers.

All of this while keeping the price of the printers around their current levels.

I'm still using a basic Elegoo Mars, I have fun with it and will not replace it before it wears out.

Still have a spare LCD.

Probably when I need to install that one and it gives out, it will be time since I don't see those screens on the market anymore.

By that time I will look for one with a bigger build plate and better performance.

I wonder where we will be by then, I'm estimating I can print another year or 2  maybe 3 with this one before it needs replacement.

So...what will be available then? 48K?

You’d think speed and quality of use improvements would be the biggest thing. Auto levelling would make things easier. It would also be nice to have more resin added in to the tank so it doesn’t accidentally run dry during a big print.

So on Sunday I had the latest and best from Elegoo, a Saturn 2 and an Neptune 3 Max on the way.

Monday, before the Neptune even got here, they had announced new and better models of both.....sigh.  Yep, industry is moving quickly.

And I finally sold my original Mars on the weekend, making room for the the Neptune 3 Max.  Having three FDM printers running makes more sense to me than having an older resin printer that I hadn't used since I got my Saturn 2.

It is off to friends down the road who are using it as a learning printer as they get into resin printing.  I had an extra LCD and a bunch of FEPs so they should be good to go until they are ready to get something newer and shinier.

The Jupiter feeds from the resin bottle, so it's around.
