haldir
Wow, came upon a stl file on MMF that was $50.00 & it was done up by one of my favorite sculptors. Noticed the file has been up like 12 hrs ago, so I went to his patreon & noticed it was this month's patreon for him. $6.50 for the patreon. Yah. I signed up. ha ha
haldir
First prints after RCon. It's been about a month since I last printed, so that first print is always a *wonder if it'll work or not*. Headless Horseman & some of the cast for the Halloween adventure next month at the FLGS!

Olaf the Stout
Has anyone done much printing at 0.03mm and 0.05mm? For those that have, what was your exposure times for 0.03mm compared to 0.05mm?

And yes the wheel was metal, it has not given us a problem since. Well looks like Elegoo possibly wants to do this the hard way. They want me to pay for replacement parts as the unit is outside the 1 year warranty period. However, Australian consumer law offers protections for consumers that extend beyond warranty periods and state that products should work for a reasonable period. Given that I’ve had the unit for about 15 months, that’s easily within this period. So I’ve pushed back on Elegoo and asked that they send me a replacement part for free. If they want to charge me for the replacement part I’ll just get a full refund through Amazon AU and get a completely new unit. Hopefully it won’t come to that, but we shall see.

Elegoo have thankfully come to the party and will be sending replacement parts for free. It’s situations like this I’m grateful for Australia’s strong consumer protection laws.

Missed a Kickstarter that we meant to back - Empryan Titans, which would go well with the Reaper Bones Greek set. The Auld Grump Fortunately Medusa isn't one of those that ratchets the price up to untenable for people who weren't backers, and these will proably be available as a pretty reasonably priced addon to their next kickstarter too.
