they hinted at something cool (and if i recall correctly, to proper D&D scale) in part 3 of greek.  I'm betting on a Titan. (which i need for the campaign I DM - one of my players normally uses the form of a titan ) :)

i'm concerned it's actually just the minotaur, but i admit i don't know what is and isn't correctly sized, including Reaper's older miniotaurs. Is the new, larger miniotaur that will be in that expansion more appropriately sized to what it should be?

Past minotaurs have been appropriately large-sized for D&D.

I don't know what size minotaurs are in other systems.

Pics from ReaperCon make the new minotaur look larger than necessary, but not so large as to cross over into huge-sized territory.

I am really wondering if we will even see any Chronoscope, Steampunk or even just general sci-fi. Over 50 stretch goals or add-ons have been announced without anything in these genres.

That's why I rolled my pledge back to minimum - I needed a way to show my frustration with the situation. I'll bump it back up to my budget as soon as they reveal anything sci-fi.

I only am committed to $20 right now, I can use that much for paint if all else fails.

@TheAuldGrump we need a pic of your "hula" spider!

Currently with Sam - she borrowed it for a side game that she is writing then running.

Along with the female fire giant from WizKids - I had them at my game for the Razor Coast - in an area that they are nowhere near, at the moment. Sam is copying an encounter I ran in the Regency Space game. Sans the adult situations that were also a part of the encounter. One of the female fire giants got very friendly with Jon's barbarian after the trial. (And was run by Jon's wife, Julie. ::): It helped that the challenge was something that the heroes could reasonably be accepted to succeed at - in this case a bout of wrestling between Jon's Enlarged barbarian and the female fire giant. Julie had the giant steal his loincloth during the fight.)

The ukulele came from a party supply store, part of a Hawaiian themed pack. (And was the only reason I got the package - the rest was, well, kinda cheesy.)

The grass skirt was made from green stuff - I first tried using fake hair, but it just looked awful as the grass skirt. Not entirely happy with the green stuff, but it was much better than the fake Hallowe'en hair painted green. <_< )

It was an idea - it was, however, not a good idea. I still think it might work, but not with whatever polyester fiber was used on the fake hair - coated with diluted Modge Podge, then painted green, it looked like fake hair covered in diluted Modge Podge, and painted green.

I am picturing that mounted on the walls of a super villain organization.

Maybe replace the disk with a light source.

Jenny would HATE that!

Ravnica PC race Minos are medium size. Pretty sure Minos in Pf are large as well.

Maybe killer clams do. Maybe fantasy clams do. Who knows, seems like a very minor nitpick though . Clams are often show with pearls.

Maybe this carnivorous fantasy species makes them to lure in prey like foolish treasure seeking divers. is amazing what made up species can explain away

*** David Attenborough Voice***

And here in the unexplored dark depths of the Ocean we see this giant clam.

Just recently we discovered that this magnificent crustacean uses the tip of it's tongue to lure it's prey closer.

It's tongue resembles a glowing pearl, in this deep darkness a light like that will attract anything.

We know so little of this planet's Oceans!

It seems we're in luck! Look at that large fish, it's being attracted by the light!

As it comes closer it stretches out an arm to...wait...arm?

What is this? It can't be!

Mermaids are...real? Astonishing!

What a discovery!

Oh no! The Clam closes, the poor creature is trapped!

Look how it wriggles in agony!

Wait, there comes another one, a female of the species I presume, just look at those magnificent...ehhh..eyes!

This one seems to carry some sort of trident, she is trying to free her mate.

What a sight, we're extremely lucky to be able to witness this!

The Deep is full of unknown lifeforms, this must be the discovery of the century!

Wait, what have we here?

Do you see that? Just behind the Clam there seems to be a faint glow, it's getting brighter, something is getting closer!

Something big!

It's almost like a giant eye!

Never before has mankind encountered such a creature, look at that!

Those crablike limbs, that huge eye, what is it?

Excuse me, I have just been informed by the Captain that for our own safety the submersible will need to resurface.

Till next time!

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/leagueofinfamy/league-of-infamy

From the team behind hit games Hellboy: The Board Game and Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf’s Kings Quest, League of Infamy is an occasionally co-operative dungeon crawler for up to 5 players, where it pays to commit dastardly deeds and partake in foul thievery – often against your own party.
Join a rogue’s gallery of misfits, ne’er-do-wells and miscreants on a disgraceful mission to kidnap cute little baby Drakons, steal their eggs and viciously wipe out any irritating, goody-goody Elves that try to stop your nefarious schemes.
But it’s not just the Elves you’ll need to keep a wary eye on. Your fellow (mis)adventurers are just as likely to betray you and steal your loot, shove you into harm’s way or just leave you in a dungeon full of unbeatable foes. As they like to say in the League of Infamy – ‘keep your enemies close but keep your friends at knifepoint’.

In the limited edition No Half Measures expansion, you must investigate reports of an ancient form of long-forgotten magic: gastromancy! Deal with halflings as strong as an ogre or tricky traps with toxic poisons. It's not all bad though, because you might come across a tasty pie or two to loot!
In the Kickstarter Exclusive Siren's Wrath expansion, the League is furious that the Trident Realm is messing with one of its most important trade routes... which absolutely won't do! You're sent in to raid the Trident Realm keep and gather as many goods as you can. However, this will be your hardest mission yet, as the Keep Master takes advantage of the aquatic landscape to boost their Defenders.

      About
First Legion 75mm Fantasy "Femmes Fatales" Resin Figure Kits
A new series of provocative 75mm Fantasy Resin Figure Kits, each one beautifully sculpted and cast and a joy to paint.
      Who We Are
First Legion has long been a leading producer of 60mm scale superbly hand painted historical metal and resin figures as well as metal and resin figures kits in various scales. We most recently expanded into 28mm Fantasy miniatures with a huge launch of amazing sculpts that will be coming to retail early next year.   Please visit our websites and social media for more information.
      First Legion Historical
      First Legion Fantasy
      First Legion Facebook
      First Legion Instagram
The theme of the series is "Femmes Fatales", beautiful but dangerous women characters. Whether by force,  guile, or seduction these ladies are not to be fussed with.    There are 7 figures in total, each one more beautiful than the next and ranging in style from Gothic, to far eastern, nomadic, northern, and even an Aztec.   The commonality to them is that they are all stunning models of beautiful, dangerous women.
Those of you who followed our 28mm Fantasy Minis Kickstarter will recognize these figures from the "Femmes Fatales" Core Set.   They were originally sculpted in 75mm scale and reduced in scale to 28mm to be included in that KS as part of our 28mm fantasy series.  We present them here as originally conceived.
Unlike our 28mm KS, which had 170+ models, this KS is purposely very simple and very succinct.    Stunning models at great prices with rewards shipping in just 3 months!
      Pledge Levels
The first 5 Figures listed below are tied to pledge levels with selections to be made in our pledge manager following funding.   The higher the pledge level, but better deal it is on each figure.
Early Bird Pledge Levels are open for the first 27 hours.
      Add-On Sets
The last two are available as an add-ons only, or as part of the "Drop Dead Gorgeous" Pledge Level.  Finally, there are three more that will be optional add-ons tied to stretch goals.
      Resin Figure Kits
All miniatures are produced in high quality resin and provided unpainted and unassembled.
      Mature Audience
The figures below contain some nudity and are not suitable for audiences under 18.
If you are offended by such figures, please stop reading and just move on.   They are purposely designed to be risqué, sexy, dangerous, and above all beautiful.

I’m interested in what people here think of this.
It seems like a great idea, but I’m wondering if there might be some unforeseen drawbacks.

      EDIT: It's live! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/oathsworn-burrows-and-badgers-anthro-miniatures-mouse-dog-cat

We love miniatures. We love tabletop games. We love anthropomorphic animals, from Disney's Robin Hood through The Wind in the Willows to Brian Jaques' Redwall books. So we combined the things we love in our Burrows & Badgers tabletop skirmish game and the accompanying range of miniatures. And our Kickstarter backers have already helped us to grow the range to over 100 miniatures - but now it's time to add some more!

      Some miniatures from previous projects...

Why are we making more miniatures?
Because we want more characters for our Burrows & Badgers games – my Freebeast warband needs reinforcements, for a start!
And we know a lot of other people are looking for more anthropomorphic animal miniatures too. A lot of people are playing Burrows & Badgers now, and many of them have asked for Massive Hounds and a Massive Raptor, so we've sculpted them! Some will want to use them for other tabletop or roleplaying games, while others love painting miniatures, and our figures are perfect for that, full of character ready to be brought to life with your paintbrush....
And some people just love collecting miniatures; again, we've made this new set of Burrows & Badgers figures perfect for collectors. They are all single piece models, with integral bases, so there are no fiddly parts to be glued on.
We love making miniatures; we hope you'll love our miniatures too.

      Why we need your help...
We've got 17 new miniatures sculpted, but they need to have moulds made before we can start producing the miniatures. And that's why we need funding; to get the production moulds made, and get the casting process started.

      About the miniatures...
There are other ranges of anthropomorphic animal miniatures out there, but ours are a little different. We didn't want all the races of animals to be the same size. Instead, we've scaled them to each other; so a shrew or a mouse is a very small model, about 20mm tall, and a really big animal like a badger will stand about 50mm tall, for example.
Each sculpted figure shown below has a scale picture with it, showing its height in millimetres. All our models are supplied unpainted.

      The Pledges
We’re keeping it as simple as possible; there’s an ‘All-in’ pledge, which gets you all the new miniatures in this Kickstarter, and any bonus bits that may come along… there’s also a ‘Pick’n’Mix’ Pledge, if you just want to get a few of the new miniatures. For the Pick'n'Mix, just total up the prices of all the miniatures you want, and pledge for that amount. There's a minimum pledge of £10. There's only six of the sculpts shown so far, but expect more to be added regularly... I'll probably add two or three a day!

      ^Minimum of £10

      Pledge Level: The Great £40

      Pledge Level: The Small £64

      Pledge Level: All In £99

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/968660672/fishing-village?ref=discovery_category_newest

      About
-Hi everyone, this time I propose you a Fishing Village:
5 Houses   7 Footbridges  1 Bridge -A few years ago I did something similar for video games
here you can see the video: and I've thought of creating models suitable for 3D printing.
-The models are in scale for 28 mm miniatures and are divided into components to be assembled without glue only joints.
-Doors, windows, nets and winches are printed separately.
-Each house is playable inside, with working doors and on the ground floor there is a fireplace with the pipeline out.
-The prints you see below have been made with an Ender 3, layer 0.2 mm, infill 5%, Pla Geetech white, the models have been designed to have as few supports as possible, I printed them with an overhang of 80 ° -85 °, support Z distance 0,3 mm.
-I highly recommend the use of printers with a print bed of at least 20x20x20 cm (for this scale).
-Paint with cans and acrylic colors.
-Each house needs about 500-800 grams of filament.
-I put hooks scattered on the houses to attach cordage or oil lamps
-I remind you that only digital models will be sent to you, NOT PHISICAL ONES.
      * Good fishing ... *
By removing the base you can have houses for a land village.
