Bit of a slowdown, but that's to be expected. Should still be a pre-lunch unlock tomorrow.

Whelp, I just did the calculations and officially went over mi initial pledge, so I upped it by $100, because I know I will use it; of course I know a bit more of what is coming so...::P:

No fair:(

Went ahead and tallied up everything I want... $526  and that’s not counting multiple copies of the kid adventures or the pizza dragon. Or, you know, all the other stuff that hasn’t been show yet

ooh I feel better now that mine is only $450 :)

I figure I'm doomed and will end up getting at least one of everything.  The real question is how much money I can afford to put up now versus adding to the pledge manager later in monthly payments.  (The pledge manager doesn't charge interest...)

I am finding more desire for duplicates this time than last time. This is likely to hurt my wallet quite a bit.

Plus, how much of a dent will it put in my monthly Reaper ordering. It's been a steady 40$ a month since the beginning of the year, and the rest of the Bones 4 models will be getting released soontm.

At a quick glance, I'm looking at $702ish...  I don't even want to convert that to Canadian, that's a LOT of cash.  But that's assuming hubby will want one of all the bigger things, and that I will too, so...

Everything on my list is just under $300. Will have to see how the core breaks out to decide if I'm backing for that. But after 4 core sets I'm running out of justification for 'big collection of random minis'

Pledge manager Core 120, greeks 50, add-ons 62:  = 232 only 32 over budget. not good for this early.

transparent shadow dragon?

sigh.

did that work last time?  I think I would be happier just priming it with brown liner and moving forward.

I like the sculpt as much or better than Aganzarak, but I would prefer it solid.

Does anyone have a good experience with clear Kyphelus?   I enjoyed painting the solid version.

they paint up easy enough in solids if you want to ignore the transparency

mine will most likely not stay transparent, except maybe in some of hte spikes

Yeah... I don't intend to keep a big tubby dragon transparent. Unless that sucker is hollow enough for some cool LED effects, but I doubt that, and I'm too lazy to carve that out!

Oh no... That dragon being transparent may mean I need two. One for solid colors and one to be all clear and iridescent

Hmm I can see myself leaving the tips of horns and wings transparent, and rest solid....paint him up in shiny gem like colors and have almost glass looking wings

Yeah, I was thinking of leaving the wings clear too, and figuring out a way to light him up from below.

Or from inside, like this maybe

Archon Studio (LOAD, Vanguard of War, Chronicle X) are branching into modular terrain. The project is now Live:

Apparently it is "full plastic injection" so not the same as their minis. The concept seems interesting, but the preview page is far from finished, so it's hard to get a good grasp on prices (one "Starter Pledge" for $49 is all they currently have listed, along with a $20 add on). The whole magnetized modular wall system looks like it could have potential.

      About
Digital render of the finished sculpts. In the last six or so years I have played a lot of tabletop games, ranging from Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons to smaller games like Frostgrave and Relicblade. I have fallen in love with the hobby of painting miniatures and everything surrounding it. A year ago I made plans to give something back and to add something to this hobby community I love so dearly.
My background in digital game art helped me a lot since I was already familiar with the software to sculpt digitally. So I started working on a few miniatures I would like to produce. Most of them were abandoned in favor of better ideas, but eventually I created this set of three goblins. These goblins are each embodiments of the archetypes found in many of the games I love: the wizard, the fighter and the thief/ranger.
I spent the last year figuring out how to cast resin to the standards I saw in the products I enjoy and how to make sure digitally sculpted details translated well to the tabletop scale.
These three figures are the end result of that progress, but hopefully the start of a lot more.
I made this Kickstarter to cover the costs of the materials used and shipping, but mostly so I can bring these little goblins to your tabletop :)
All miniatures will be multiple parts cast in resin and supplied unpainted, with a 25mm gaming base.
      The final resin casts.

They drag their feet one in front the other, deliberately, slowly. They  crawl out of their resting grounds. Out of the tombs to the fresh air,  slowly, unrestained.
Scylla Models is back presenting you a new range of Villains and Undead monsters for your collection. The models we present you are master casts  white metal (primed white for better result in the pictures), with the only exception of Zuula. She on her Night Terror is our first large monster and we decided to go resin. The results are quite impressive as you might see in the picture.
