My strong maybes are:

Also, for the benefit of the newer members: If it works the same way as last year, orders are processed for shipping according to the timestamp of the *first* order you make in the pledge manager once it officially opens and your credit is added. You can make as many orders as you want as you add funds later, but the date/time of your first order determines when your stuff ships within your wave.

Heh.  Rural area.  I don't think theres anywhere nearby I could spend 100 on a night out.  Never done it before at least.

Hmmm.

'Harvest festival/County fair:

Parking: 5-10$

Admission: 10-25$

Food (per person):15$ plus

Games/rides, etc: 10$+ per person

You and one companion: 75$ - 95$+ per person.

This is excluding any merch, raffles, special admission events, etc. It is just spread out a bit more, so you don't notice it as much. FFS, at most of these events, a drink, some food and a sweet can hit 20$ per person, easy.

This is for somethimg that happens ONCE and then is just a memory. Your bones (loot, trove, hoard, collection, use the term you like) is with you and continues to give satisfaction until you choose to pass it on to others, as a gift or for profit (then you get that additional satisfaction). Difference, to me, is exponential.

So I have a problem.  Just went through, I want all 5 chromatics, the pirate ship, brinewind, fan favorites, the core set, the siege weapons, and a few other things.  That comes to about 600, I only did bones 4 beforehand and that hit 350. If I spend that much on miniatures, the adult half of my brain is going to torment me for months, even if I spread it out.  What's a guy to do?

Spend it if you can afford it. else it will just be spent on other things, such as beer. The beer is good only for one night. Bones last for a lifetime.

Here is a little better view of the Drunken Mermaid Bar.  It is still a WIP.  I have lots of ropes, wood texture, and bar-fight damage to add yet.

BPR_Render_Bar.thumb.jpg.cff9f07af47dc414671466a77567ccf1.jpg

My humble suggestion is: explicitly detach the Mermaid. Just as if she is a table, or a loose barrel. Add a curved-at-each-end set of planks (like you’d mount a fish to) as a loose piece also (a sign board).

And then just let @Sanael or other end users assemble the model as they wish.

Some enterprising soul might want to use the hammerhead shark or the grouper or something else as the carved signboard for the bar. Others might want to paint a name if they can do freehand.

The Hammered Head is a pretty decent alternative dockside barname IMHO.

(If the idea is unclear, I could*** do a quick doodle for you...simple exploded drawing.)

Did that post with the rough valuation of all the sets get posted again after fan favorites,  brinewind 3, and brinewind extras were released?

I propose a “Girl Power” expansion next Bones.  Nothing but new, fresh, dynamic models of females of all the PC races and various classes.  Level 2 and 3 would then be monstrous humanoid and monster female models.

I would love that!

Nice idea. Level 1 could be some existing female metal sculpts translated to Bones, Level 2 could be all the same characters but leveled up a bit (better armor and gear), Level 3 could be older versions still ...a Sorceress is now an Arch-Mage, etc.

I would actually love to see this as a PC issue, not just women.

Eight sculpts of each non-human race you can think of: four male, four female. Each set of four to consist of: An armored warrior, a lightly armored technician, a robed magic-user, and a fourth that makes sense for the race.

48 models in the expansion gives you six races. Tortles, firbolgs, Goliaths, gnomes, halflings and dragonkin?

@TaleSpinner I don't know exactly how feasible that is given whatever art direction you got, but I wholeheartedly agree with @TGP.

Also, totally stealing The Hammered Head.

Archon Studio (LOAD, Vanguard of War, Chronicle X) are branching into modular terrain. The project is now Live:

Apparently it is "full plastic injection" so not the same as their minis. The concept seems interesting, but the preview page is far from finished, so it's hard to get a good grasp on prices (one "Starter Pledge" for $49 is all they currently have listed, along with a $20 add on). The whole magnetized modular wall system looks like it could have potential.

      About
Digital render of the finished sculpts. In the last six or so years I have played a lot of tabletop games, ranging from Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons to smaller games like Frostgrave and Relicblade. I have fallen in love with the hobby of painting miniatures and everything surrounding it. A year ago I made plans to give something back and to add something to this hobby community I love so dearly.
My background in digital game art helped me a lot since I was already familiar with the software to sculpt digitally. So I started working on a few miniatures I would like to produce. Most of them were abandoned in favor of better ideas, but eventually I created this set of three goblins. These goblins are each embodiments of the archetypes found in many of the games I love: the wizard, the fighter and the thief/ranger.
I spent the last year figuring out how to cast resin to the standards I saw in the products I enjoy and how to make sure digitally sculpted details translated well to the tabletop scale.
These three figures are the end result of that progress, but hopefully the start of a lot more.
I made this Kickstarter to cover the costs of the materials used and shipping, but mostly so I can bring these little goblins to your tabletop :)
All miniatures will be multiple parts cast in resin and supplied unpainted, with a 25mm gaming base.
      The final resin casts.

They drag their feet one in front the other, deliberately, slowly. They  crawl out of their resting grounds. Out of the tombs to the fresh air,  slowly, unrestained.
Scylla Models is back presenting you a new range of Villains and Undead monsters for your collection. The models we present you are master casts  white metal (primed white for better result in the pictures), with the only exception of Zuula. She on her Night Terror is our first large monster and we decided to go resin. The results are quite impressive as you might see in the picture.
