Warren of Vile Fungi

Recommended Posts

Warren of Vile Fungi is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm EST on Friday, November 1. It will include over 2 dozen individual fungoid-based miniatures developed and sculpted by Pedro Navarro. He's been working on this project for over 2 years in collaboration with Mortal Arrow. It's a deep dive into heroic, fantastic, and terrifying fungal beings from the 1970's to the present. Ascomoids, Gas Spores, Basidironds, Ustilagors, corrupted Myconids, and heroic Myconids are just some of the many hand-sculpted miniatures from Pedro.

The project itself will be live for only 2 weeks, so please consider supporting this effort by Mortal Arrow and Pedro Navarro. Every little bit of aid is important to us, so we kindly ask that you follow this project at the link below:

You can see more details about the miniatures on the Mortal Arrow Facebook and Pedro's blog here:

http://mr-bugman.blogspot.com/

We will be posting details and updates on this thread as well.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help and enthusiasm!!! We are very excited to bring scary, and heroic, fungi to peoples around the globe!!

Ok, these are cool. One of the monsters is a segmented centipede-fungus...I kinda want to use it as an undead Ankheg infected by a Cordyceps fungus... That's something to make the PCs shudder!

Thanks Sanael and others for taking a look.  Special thanks to Orlando for already spreading the word!! Here are some other images that I recently posted on Facebook of the actual sculpts by Pedro. I've made sure to include The Rasper (half-bug fungus) which is the largest of the "Corrupted Myconids".

Thanks Elbon! Pedro Navarro deserves all of the credit. Regarding pricing we have a few Pledge Levels, the first starts at $35. There will be Stretch Rewards as well as. All minis are available as Add-Ons and the price per mini will vary depending upon the size. All except 1 is under $20, with must running under $10. Currently we plan to include 28 minis in the KS, but this may grow...

@Highlander - Thanks for your interest!

Here's a recently revealed Phantom Fungus cast in clear resin.  Hopefully this piques your interest. It's available as an Add-On. We've also re-imagined this curious monster first introduced in the late 1980's. You can read about its ecology here: https://www.mortalarrow.com/the-scroll/burning-gehenna/phantom-fungus/

We've added 3 more Mushroom Folks to the Stretch Rewards. Pedro is having a little fun with  these concepts. We hope to have two more soon. In addition to this 5 piece set, we're hoping to do at least one more. And are looking for ideas. The complete collection is listed here so you can see how all 19 concepts -- 28 miniatures have already been created from these concepts thanks to Pedro!

The Cthulhu is already printed (thus the lines on the rock in the back) while the other two are renders. A lloigor and a "witch" have already been unlocked, as well a Shub-Niggurath, although the last one as an addon.

That's the preview page, project will go live on 25th.

      Miniatures look great:

But I'm trying to talk myself out of it:
      - The company's first project (Wild Assent) has not yet been delivered (they say they will keep the pledge manager for this project open long enough so you can up your pledge as soon as Wild Assent is delivered)
      - It's ... quite pricey.
      - Minis look like they are made by Archon (which on the one hand is good because Archon does make nice, detailed minis ... on the other hand ... I'm not so sure I want to support the company for different reasons)

      But ...

Welcome to our first campaign, Monster Families!
La Louve 3D offers you this project, a collection of adorable, funny and dreadful miniatures to liven your role playing games. We have highlighted some little represented creatures and their babies! All our models are 3D printable without other supports needed with a FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printer or SLA (Stereolithography) printer.

As I've run across this problem with multiple minis that are the same, these would be handy. I've looked at this guy's product for years & I've tried to come up with solutions but overall his is the best for what it represents (or at least what I'd use em for).
