What D&D Class/Race would you like to be in real life?

Well, in my previous job I used to be a Ranger. My tracking skills are still pretty good and I have a talent for being able to get fairly close to wild animals(mostly just from being quiet and patient). I've been told I would probably be a decent hunter if I wanted to be, which isn't very likely. The only shooting I do is with my camera ::P:

Race wise, I'd probably be a half elf. All the cuteness and insecurity in one package :poke:

Describe the toughest fight you had in a RPG or Wargame this can be both miniature or PC Games.

I was doing a simple low-level gathering mission in Monster Hunter and I stupidly decided that it was a good idea to try and catch a Rathalos. For the uninitiated, they're basically a Red Dragon in the shape of a massive Wyvern. Seriously dangerous, spits fireballs and has a poisonous tail spike :zombie: The mission had a 45 minute time limit and I took down the beast with one minute to go!  :bday:

Then I remembered that I had to find one more mushroom to actually finish the mission. Made it with seconds to spare!

What's your favorite board/card game?

Bonus question, any good stories about playing it?

I don't really play board/card games. I've bought a fair few games just for the minis, but I never get round to actually playing them. I'm not a very competitive person

Favorite card game is probably Munchkin. No expansion packs, just the vanilla version.

Favorite board game is a toss up: King of Tokyo or Fortune and Glory. I haven't played a game in years, but those were fairly consistent in the rotation. I also hold a special place for dungeon crawlers like Descent or Dungeon Saga.

Growing up certain games were discontinued in my household: no Monopoly, brothers and sisters always argued... no Clue, siblings always argued... couldn't even play Scrabble without arguing...

Welcome to Getting to Know you, September 2018 Edition.

Here are the roolz, copied directly from @Crowley's post from last month

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question.
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and take my place...
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted between 6AM and 8AM EST
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to me.
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why are always fun).
      7. Weekend questions may take the form of two or three day challenges, often starting on Fridays.

The most important thing is to have fun! In fact, its now mandatory

You thought you were rid of me... you thought "Thanks Gygax's Leather Dice Bag, July is over and we're through with Crowley's stupid questions!"

      YOU WERE ONLY HALF RIGHT!

July IS over, but I HAVE MORE STUPID QUESTIONS!!

Now, as a reminder, the obligatory rulze posting:

I'm going to go walk the dogs, and then post the first question of the month...

Greetings all! It is I, the Questgiver! Wait, no, the New Questioner! You are now on a quest to answer questions for a whole month! *mad cackling*

Okay, onward to December's questions. We shall discuss random things. We shall discuss ourselves. We shall converse about holidays and food! We shall have fun and merriment and describe said fun and merriment with mirth (not ruling out some moodiness).

      For December 1st:

What have you done that you are proud of lately? It can be a big thing. It can be a small thing. We know you are at least glad to have done something!
