QUESTION November 1st.

Winter is coming! What are you looking forward to?

Normally I'd say less work, more sleep and time to do my hobby stuff. I've been in the house the last 2 days and I'm already tired of sitting here, didn't sleep great and still can't get motivated on the hobbies. I'll shake it off sometime.

Run around town in the middle of the night and animating the crude snow golems that are in peoples' yards. Boy, are those kids ever in  for a surprise when they wake up!

Stews and chilis, and not overheating.

A steep slowdown on the egg delivery isn't necessarily a bad thing either...

Funding lapse in mid-late November. None of us at work have any faith in a funding bill that passes this Congress getting signed.

I have an aging grandfather I haven't seen in 2 and a half years. He's been getting his affairs in order like he knows more than we do. After surgery ate my time off for the next two years I need a furlough in order to fly to Los Angeles. While I'm there I might be able to spend Thanksgiving ^_^

Summer. I hate being cold. That and I need my sunlight time. I get more depressed during the winter, wife says it has to be the lack of sunlight.

It’s Cozy Cult time! Get the cozy robes! Get the teapot! Snuggle up with a book or a video game!

Cozy cultists unite and do..... NOTHING!!!

Aww yiss! Almost time to fire up the wood stove and snuggle in the blankets, get out the soft fleecy pants and slippers! Real men know the cozy cult.

When I almost lost three fingers in the accident last week, it took me a couple days to shake the trauma. Not just for the accident, but it gave me the weirdest sensation of what it would be like to be laying in the yard, breathing my last breath as I passed on from this world. So...I've been quietly updating my affairs, as well. Doesn't hurt to be ready, in any case.

I'm really not sure. It's going to be a weird holiday season since there are some people that will be missing.

I guess if I had to pick one thing it would be (hopefully) finishing Minivember on time but that's still Fall technically.

Christmas with the grandkids!

The granddaughter is starting to interest in what Opa paints.  So I'm trying to keep her "into" things without being "spooked" by some of them (like the wraiths).  I'm probably going to have to start the Nagendra soon.  I can do lots of colorful things there that might help.

Ever considered an UV Light? It seems to help people who suffer from this.

First real present I ever bought my wife way back when we started dating was a daylight lamp (back then the only place to get them as online..). Makes a huge difference for her in January and February.
