-Wrap bubble wrap around that, secured with more tape.

-Place in small, tight box. Secure with tape.

-Place small box inside of larger box.

-Add packing paper/bubblewrap/cushioning material to fill up space. Secure with tape.

-Shake box to detect movement. If movement, use more packing material. Secure with tape.

-Place address label.Secure with tape.

You've worked at Analogue Haven, haven't you...  A synth shop where the owner got tired of packages being damaged by rain and snow, so literally does something like six to ten layers of tap around EVERY INCH of the package...

If you send someone minis, how do you pack them to protect them from damage during shipping?

I only did it once.

I think I used a leftover flat box from a KS shipment, leftover packing foam, ziplock bags for each mini, laid as flat as possible. Seemed to work.

Wrapped in tissues and placed in a very small Tupperware container, then packed like normal. The container water proofs them, and they stay pretty intact. So far, no one who I've sent them to has complained about damage, and they get a tiny Tupperware out of it.

Where is today's question?

Probably ricocheting frantically around a kitchen, dodging furry beasties and starving humans... wait, hold on.

Do you keep all of your painted minis or do you sell them /give them away?

I've given a few away, and I've painted one or two on commission. So.. no, I don't keep all of them.

Right sorry about that. It seems I posted a question and forgot to hit submit reply...

I do sell stuff that I'm no longer satisfied with, it gives me an absurd amount of pride that anyone should pay real money for anything I have produced.

Probably wondering why a group called Scooter is wondering at the top of their lungs how much the fish is...

I pretty much keep them all.  I've had some say I could potentially sell painted minis, but I paint for enjoyment, not as a job ^_^

Nope, figured you were too stressed. Didn't want to push it ::(:

I was waiting to see if anyone else broached the subject, also figuring that the house stuff was of a higher priority for the glittery one..
