Monster Miniatures: 3d Printable Support-Free Tabletop Minis

Quote

Rocket Pig Games Miniatures are the most user-friendly 3D printable miniatures on the market. They are designed with FDM printers in mind but have superior detail that translates beautifully when using resin. The icing on the cake is that all of our miniatures, from standard-sized to Epic Kits, are 100% Support-Free!

There's a bunch of stuff in the project, which closes at 2100 MST (2300 EST) on Tuesday, 19 Nov. Looks like they've run other projects, but I can't speak to how well.

Which is partly why I'm posting this. Has anyone dealt with these people before? If so, how did it go?

Note: Apologies if I've missed an existing thread; I tried several searches (company name and project name) and looked through the first three pages of "Live" tags without seeing anything, but I've missed threads before.

I am a backer of this one, but did not participate in any of their previous campaigns.  I made a quick glance at them before I jumped in - IIRC, all but one funded and the updates looked like they were releasing STLs as planned.

Their Patreon also seems to be doing well with 660 members.

I might just be me, but I see STL Kickstarters as having a much smaller risk level.  Thoughts?

I backed one of their previous projects (gothic city, I believe) and there was a stream of updates and releases.  I haven't had a chance to print anything yet, but all the parts have been released.  My only (minor) complaint was that everything was sent through kickstarter messages when the files became available.

Because the cap-ex involved for the manufacturer/artist is low and the turnaround time is shorter (in general), I think you're probably right.

Yeah, that's a bit annoying.

Looking to get an EPAX X1 in the next month or two, so I've been dipping a toe into the STL market. Still don't feel very secure; it's a deep pool.

The Clockwork Dragon is the only one I'm interested in, and it's only available as an add-on. And with the lowest pledge is $30, it's not happening.

It was the Baron himself who nailed up the poster in Midlam the town square.
WANTED:  LADY WILDWOOD and sundry associated gang members - For Murder, extortion, petty theft and highway robbery.  REWARD - 10 Gold Coins for Lady Wildwood and 1 Gold Coin per gang member.
Speculation and rumour was rife!  Who were these new Bandits that were plaguing Midlam?  Who was the mysterious and dangerous Lady Wildwood? It seemed that the town had been under siege, first from Captain Grief's Gang and then the Hobgoblin Rainding Party, and now this gang of merciless women!
Bounty hunters muttered in dark corners of Inns, looking for information and squads of Town Guard regularly marched out into the surrounding countryside in their pursuit.
But still the robberies and raids continued...

You can also, should you wish, include our first bandit gang with your pledge.  Captain Grief's Gang is a series of of eleven 28mm scale bandits, thugs and ruffians, including the original stretch goal 'George the Grind'.  You could then mix and match your bandits or have them as deadly rivals!

It's only an 11 day  project, so hury up and back.

Hi :) I'm pleased to present my new 5e adventure series : Explore a sentient twin-planet where high magic is forbidden, war rages and the world is being dragged into a Lovecraftian abyss.
Geas: Broken Gods offers five One-Shot adventures for levels 1-5 - or a huge campaing that chains them together in any order - that introduce players to a new world of my own creation that takes place on a living planet with unique physics, materials, weapons, equipment, monsters and more.  Geas, is a Sentient co-joined planet: one half (The Found) knows next to nothing of the other (The Lost), eternally separated by the Bathyal Sea and Tsunami-sized waves that divide them. In fact - the History of Geas is one of its greatest mysteries. Records in the 'Great Planasthai' - a gargantuan and elaborate book of lore of tremendous import with its entries only readable when certain stars and planets align in special conjunctions - reveals that a visitation in the deep past from a particularly cryptic set of entities saw the reigning Gods of Geas simply walk away, abandoning their positions of power without a fight and choosing to instead walk amongst the mortals as Broken Gods.

All modules are lovingly mapped, tokened and written providing everything you need + if you use Fantasy Grounds VTT you're in for a beautifully laid out and automated adventure using their excellent software and with maps and features specially designed to compliment and capitalize on their VTT.

      Find out more here:
      Geas: Broken Gods

      Thank you,
      Kind Regards
      Kris
