Broken Toad - Jim Henson's Labyrinth and dark crystal

In for four.  Wife love Labyrinth, and her sister is BIG Dark Crystal fan.  I suspect a BIG chunk of the price is due to the cost of licensing these.  The Henson folks have VERY high standards and won't let just anyone run with their imagry. Since they're officially licensed, they may have been able to get their hands on the original puppets.  Lots of details I never noticed in the movie, like the back of Hoggle's vest!

oh my....  I knew it was going to be expensive... I was still underestimating it.

at £ 45.00 for the busts, this is full retail for the most expensive busts currently in Broken Toad's webstore....    They're offering no Kickstarter discount at all here.

A bit of sticker shock here too, but the licensing probably is a good chunk of it. This very well might still have KS discounting a bit (especially if SGs are met).

I need to ask Sir Cyr. As much as I love skeksis, I don't think I'd paint one. Kira and Jen though... yeah.

I don't know, the River Horse games exist so licensing can't be too high.

the river horse games were done back before the new series came out and gave the works a nice boost to their popularity.

oh absolutely.  Right now in order of want will be , Sir Didymus and Ambrosius, Jen and Kira, SkekSil bust or trial by stone, and Hoggle.
and my wallet is currently inconsolable.  so... maybe only the first two

All shipping costs will be added to your order once the Kickstarter has ended. This is because shipping costs are calculated by weight and we won't know this until the end of the campaign, once your pledge is locked in.

Below is a chart showing current costs for Tracked and Insured shipping, via Royal Mail. A courier service may be necessary dependent on the weight of your pledge and destination.

must...resist...on budget due to pandemic... but... but... argh!!!

I'm lucky... Too many other plans are taking priority.  I just won't tell hubby, because I suspect he'd want some of these given how much he loves those two movies..

Me... I've yet to watch Labyrinth...
