I feel somebody should point out that just because GW makes a thing it doesn't mean they're forcing anyone to buy that thing.  I don't think it's a good look to imply that either GW is stupid for making this thing, or that people are stupid for buying this thing, when we're on the website of a company that not too long ago sold Bones-branded superglue.  I don't know about you guys, but I live in a place absolutely awful for getting timely supplies, and even I can get superglue at the gas station three minutes away from my house.  Nobody who bought Reaper's Bones superglue is an idiot just because I can do it cheaper and faster.

Google "micromark seam scraper".

True, but not everyone knows about MicroMark, or shipping will double the cost of the product, and takes at least a few days to get in.

The only reason I don't have one myself is that it's $20 for shipping, and their site is dangerous.  You cart can easily become a lot larger in short order...

I can actually see how this device would be useful, and I don't think that GW is stupid for making it.

Having said that, however, I wouldn't buy one myself and I would question why someone who has been in the hobby a while would buy one.

I would put this into a different category to super-glue as well - super-glue is a necessity, this is a nice-to-have

Same - I’ve been putting units in a wood strip with blu tack for priming/basecoating.  The big paint stirring sticks you get free at Home Depot or a paint store would be perfect for this too.

Where is the huge dwarf from?

Yes, I wish they’d release the big one!  I want at least one more, and could really use 3.

In 5e, duergar have the Enlarge ability that makes them grow to large size.  Having a super-sized and regular version of a dwarf sculpt is going to be really fun for my underdark campaign where duergar pop up occasionally.

The one time it happened so far I swapped the dwarf mini out for an ogre mini, but I can’t wait to pull this guy out!  At some point they’ll end up in Gracklestugh and we’ll have a whole mob of these guys - it would be awesome to have four 10’ duergar stomping around!

Yah, the enlarged dwarf really beats the "insert dwarf mini into a upside down Large Reaper base, that's for sure. I could use a couple more myself. Hopefully, it's the next expansion to see retail after the prehistoric one.

As I mentioned in the thread on the Captain with Terminator Honours, here is the best painted Dreadnaught I have done, the trident symbol on the  front is the chapter insignia. Let me know what you think!

I thought it would be cool to show off an older model I painted, this one is a vintage Space Marine Captain, painted in the colours of my own Chapter, the Sons of Poseidon.

Comments and criticisms always wanted, let me know what you think! The model was painted using Army painter paints.

Started this guy back in 2010 and, after eleven years of on and off work (mostly off), I'm going to say he's finished. There are things I could do better now than when I started him, and certainly areas I could try to tweak more, but I'd rather save the energy/time for another figure. 54mm Games Workshop "Brother Artemis" Space Marine from the old "Inquisitor" game.  Made a few minor tweaks (repositioned the sword) and left off a few bits 'cause I didn't like how they looked.  Base was sanded down and then rebuilt with plastic card to look industrial.  Nowadays I can just buy 40mm bases that are done this way. It was actually the first part thing that got painted which meant I had to be careful when I was painting the figure! Painted primarily with Reaper paints.

      Hey all,
Mods if this is not acceptable please feel free to delete.
I started a new project. last week. I bought the mini at a game store that I go to to paint with Ludo. I had another friend give me more minis... so I am turning this what was going to be just the one, into an army. I am still working on this one, but I thought you all might like to see it.
      Anyways here is the Commander:

Finished this a little while ago, but it wasn't until just recently where I was able to get it into an area that's large enough, and has even enough lighting (whoo, b-day gift of a 24" cube light box and lights!)

This is the terrain element that was included in the Warhammer 40,000 Battle for Macraggae boxed starter set.
