Here is some more February painting - a bones IV crone with her black cat out of the familiar pack. Of course it was after pics that I noticed the bare spot on the base!

It's a cougar! Specifically it's a firepelt cougar, from the world of Golarion (Pathfinder RPG).
It's also my submission for the Reaper Challenge League under the January theme of "Ice or Fire".
Pathfinder authors have described firepelts as having black-and-red or "autumnal" coloration, but I know of only one image in a Paizo book: the 5th anniversary book of Rise of the Runelords shows one as mostly black with thin orange stripes running down its back and orange rings on its tail. I used that as a point of departure, plus extra reference in the form of photos of cougars, and photos of rare recessive-gene "king cheetahs" that have stripes and large blotchy spots instead of the usual small round spots.
I cut away parts of this guy's integral base, and sculpted a grouping of rocks that the cougar is descending.
Enjoy!

Aftermath is a dungeon crawler board game that is the heir to both Mice and Mystics and Stuffed Fables.
The game takes place in a post apocalyptic world where rodents have formed colonies to scrounge resources for survival, cobbling together the things they need.
For the set, I went with a lot of textures and a lot of wear and tear. Nothing these mice have is brand new, and I really wanted to express that.

I painted up this Reaper metal mini, Swiftpaw the Catfolk monk (SKU 3923) in July. I really like the catfolk minis that Glenn Harris sculpted for Reaper and this is my second completed catfolk from that series. Nothing fancy, I used the off white triad for his Gi.
