It varies from one set to another for me.

I pledged for the Greek expansion after part 1.

For Brinewind, I think I need to see part 2 to make a decision, but if I like part 2, I don't need to wait for part 3.

For Dark Depths, I think I still need to see part 3 to make a final decision. Still too much of a mixed bag for me.

Certainly, fully revealed expansions are the easiest to evaluate.

Oh, for me too; so far, I only pedged for Greek after just seeing Tier 1. But Greek's tier one is stronger (in my opinion) than its tier 2, and also stronger than many other expansions first unlock.

I'm almost sure I'll pledge for Depths too, but here I'm waiting to see the final tier.

With kinda expensive add-ons we have a potential to increase the marker with amounts not as high as the 50$ of the expansions but high enough, and since its all revealed, you can decide if you want it or not. If it's juicy enough, I'm sure it can make it all move so much faster.

I wonder if Reaper wouldn't see a better return if the 3 part expansions were broken up into three parts at $20 or $25 each. I can certainly see that the Chronoscope would probably have done much better in B4 that way.

Reaper maybe, we... we will not :d

Daimyos, for example: I'm only interested on the couple big Oni and the Dragon. So, I would be interested on tier 1 and 3. For either 40$ or 50$ I will get them, but get much less in return. And If I want the entire expansion... either 60$ or 75$ for all.

Charge $20 a piece and then a $10 discount if you get all 3 expansion parts. That would certainly make me buy more.

except part 3 would likely have gotten canceled in that case.

for me:

Greek - hydra was a big draw for me, rumored cerberus and hippogriff , i pledged for part 1 in hopes what i want will appear

Dark Depths - oh instant pledge. Fish! prehistoric dunkle! sharks!  Part 2 has a lot i like too, and i'm excited to see whats in part 3

but brine...i don't really like it right now. They're gonna have to put something amazing and big in it for me to pick it up right now

aside from some variation on the particular minis, I'm almost exactly the same here. Greek, Depths, and quite a number of add-ons at the moment.

you can see the excitement for the greek expansion.  Compared to sets since and the storm giant for a solo add-on, the growth the day of those 2 reveals is much higher than what we've seen since (except maybe like 1 day)

the greek expansion seems like it could be the best expansion of any sets theyve done in any kickstarter.

A snow encounter will be the largest encounter they have, with a snow leopard, and some type of shrine.

I barely missed a dwarf with an axe, as part of a dwarf lord encounter.

The Shadows of Ravenhome encounter set:

She is the encounter hero.

Sounds like they previewed parts from 4 encounters.  Sorry I only caught 2.

Merchant cart:

They think the cart is too large (that is a test print) - Could be 25% smaller... But he then realized it was probably sculpted to fit a 1" base inside... Duh.

So not sure if they will shrink it or not.  Vacillating.

Here is another shot.  It has the aforementioned Dwarf to the left:

The wagon will be part of an expansion.  No more details than that.

Possibly, but that would explicitly defeat the purpose of reducing the number of add-ons to track and produce independently.

I also don't think it's clear whether it would maximize long-term return. Reaper is not in this purely to generate the largest possible top-line number for the Kickstarter; they are trying to expand a successful retail product line, and generate continuing revenue off the new products introduced. They may see value in bundling things the way they do, even if it knocks down the KS total.

And based on how much I like your other work, I would love to see you do such a project!  Something fey would really benefit from the mischief you captured in the nereids.

I would loooove fey sculpted by @Rainbow Sculptor!

They are discussing how they are going to part things out for the added Core add-ons.

Golems and Scarecrows will be a group together.
Catfolk will be a group

Spell Effects will be a group

The 6 Dreadmere figs will be a set.
He mentioned others, but I missed them, sorry

On Monday they will reveal the cost of the Ship add-on.

The second part of the Brinewind expansion will be dock-related.  Fish mongers... Maybe a cart... (coy voice)

Hmmn.  That looks interesting.  I think I have that figure from Reapercon or something, but an encounter set could offer possibilities for horror or mythos play.

Will have to see more of the "snow encounter" before I know if I want it.  Right now it's more interesting than another dragon.

Interested, possibly.

      Story
Echoes of Camelot: Arthurian Legends is a project that will expand our 75mm resin miniature range with new and exciting models based on the Matter of Britan, particularly around the figure of King Arthur and his Knights. We have many cool surprises prepared should you help us bring this dream to life.
These miniatures have been sculpted and painted here at the Big Child Creatives studio with the collaboration of some of the most talented miniature artists out there. And what is more, they will be manufactured by our own talented team of resin casting experts. This allows us to monitor the process closely to ensure the best quality in the market and a timely delivery.
We have learned a lot from our previous campaigns, and we want to put all this experience to good use, repeating everything we did right, improving upon it, and correcting our past mistakes. We invite you to join us in this journey of discovery throughout the Matter of Britain and its amazing cast of unique characters.
This campaign is a journey of discovery, full of surprises such as custom bits to make your miniatures even more striking than they already are. Some of these kits will be Kickstarter exclusive, so those of you who choose to support us will be able to proudly show it through unique miniatures, even more full of life and character than our regular releases.

Microworld Games (which I run) has their first Kickstarter ever live:

All stretch goals have been met, with a bit less than 2 weeks to go.  I know 6mm fantasy is a bit of a niche within a niche, but thought I would post for anyone interested in element-based mass battle wargaming.  I'm hoping the KS platform enables me to push out more interesting projects a bit quicker.
