You sure thats teiflings and not half demons?  Its been a long time since I opened a 2E book

Yeah - One of the tables is here

At the time, Alu-Demons and Cambions were actually more stable in appearance and abilities than Tieflings.

So, as a game writer and developer, I can understand trying to keep the "base level" classes and backgrounds and stuff sort of... I don't want to say "simple"... uncomplicated? - so that they are better entry points for new players. And given the sort of "keep the basic system low-drag high-speed, and low requirements - let the 3rd party folks deal with the complexities" ethos of 5e design, I don't exactly disagree with it?

But that doesn't mean, in my campaign, that demonspawn and folks of similar ancestries aren't prone to all sorts of different features... ;-)

I think that another way to look at this is that Paizo and Hasbro/WotC are busily trying to lock their customers firmly into their pre-painted minis and other officially-licensed products, and then failing to supply the official minis designed to support the protected and rigid fluff, illustrations, and descriptions that tie everyone to their official, licensed products....

I think a lot of GMs and players tend to forget that THIS is the reason why the "Dungeon Master is Always Right" rule exists:  not for railroading players into the DM's-way-or-the-highway mode of game playing, but to give the GMs the opportunity to override the places where the game fluff and rules just aren't serving the group's game very well....

Curious at how big Not-Gojira Chaos will *really* be.

Base size is not necessarily a good reference. [Needs more cowbell Forscale]

I love how you can almost see the level of evil in the wives° - from the "I'm really really evil" scarlet red one to the "neutral only a little evil, except I sorta live on blood so..." dark red one.

And, the light purple one, I gotta admit, looks like she's in mid-leap on someone and about to do something kinda inappropriate...

°Wives, did I say wives? Daughters, of course. I meant daughters. Clearly they are daughters....

I am getting a Fright Night vibe from the winged ladies.

Me likey!

      Story
Echoes of Camelot: Arthurian Legends is a project that will expand our 75mm resin miniature range with new and exciting models based on the Matter of Britan, particularly around the figure of King Arthur and his Knights. We have many cool surprises prepared should you help us bring this dream to life.
These miniatures have been sculpted and painted here at the Big Child Creatives studio with the collaboration of some of the most talented miniature artists out there. And what is more, they will be manufactured by our own talented team of resin casting experts. This allows us to monitor the process closely to ensure the best quality in the market and a timely delivery.
We have learned a lot from our previous campaigns, and we want to put all this experience to good use, repeating everything we did right, improving upon it, and correcting our past mistakes. We invite you to join us in this journey of discovery throughout the Matter of Britain and its amazing cast of unique characters.
This campaign is a journey of discovery, full of surprises such as custom bits to make your miniatures even more striking than they already are. Some of these kits will be Kickstarter exclusive, so those of you who choose to support us will be able to proudly show it through unique miniatures, even more full of life and character than our regular releases.

Microworld Games (which I run) has their first Kickstarter ever live:

All stretch goals have been met, with a bit less than 2 weeks to go.  I know 6mm fantasy is a bit of a niche within a niche, but thought I would post for anyone interested in element-based mass battle wargaming.  I'm hoping the KS platform enables me to push out more interesting projects a bit quicker.
