Years ago I ran a campaign that the characters were the kids of our retired epic adventurers. I wrote up new fumble tables etc that were mostly humorous and/or embarrassing. Fumble with a sword, cut your own belt, your pants fall down. Crit fail a spell, turn bright pink, or only can speak in rhymes, or get trapped in a giant soap bubble... silly stuff like that.

 

Really want to get those kid adventurers and paint them!

From what i understand, the wizkids prepainted storm giant is between 6-7 inches tall. The GF9 official collectors series resin storm giant is: about 5.5 inches tall to top of head (without the curve thing on the helmet) and without base.  He would be taller but his legs are spread wider in a battle stance. if standing straight, he's around 6 inches or a bit more. With the head frill thing, he's near 7 inches tall. 

 

This bones one is 4.72 inches.

Looks like we're on track for a start of Reaper's day unlock. Things are slowing down a bit now. I expect they'll pick up again in the European morning, and then really ramp up as the east coast wakes up and finds itself close to the goal.

Is Reaper going to continue the post KS ordering they have done the first 4 KS? Some stuff I am iffy on and wanting to see the physical models before pledging. Plus it would allow more time for me to get funds.

Its Tony McVey's Gojirasaurus (a 1998 kit he made and sold).  his depiction of godzilla, if godzilla was a real life dinosaur  32 inches long... Tony McVey is an ILM artist and currently the lead artist on The Mandalorian (disney+ upcoming show).  worked on return of the jedi, prequels, etc. super rare :) :) :)   funny, people look for this thing for years.  Took about a month from when i first saw the image of it in august, to track one down :) :) :) heheh

 

Tomorrow, pick up a ton of simple green to remove the paint from it and try to break the joins so i can redo it cleaner, etc.

 

Regarding the kickstarter: i hope the next goal gets unlocked in the morning (like 8-10 hours from now, and we can do another unlock during the day).  seems to have slowed again after a spike at the reveal of the Greek expansion.

I just saw that Kicktraq now has enough data to project a final value for the campaign of $3.3 - $5.5M.  It says experimental, but does anyone know how accurate it tends to be?  If this thing goes to $5.5M, Reaper’s going to need about 40 more stretch goals than they’ve ever needed before.
