Okay, someone is going to hate me for this.

Why is it so big? That's THREE FEET LONG. It isn't a mini if it is bigger than an baby.

I like it. But geebus. Where the bleep will I put it?

You know it's big enough to put many minis on it.

FINALLY!!!! :bday:

I've had to sit on the knowledge that Reaper WAS doing a ship ever since ReaperCon!!! (I found out at a dinner with some of the Reaper employees and was sworn to secrecy MANY times) It's been so painful because I wanted to confirm it so badly but I couldn't!!

Huzzah!

And - - - - -

Now we need a suitable sized KRAKEN.

L.O.T.S. demands this be made to happen in the name of equality of species.

Also, how long will that take to paint?

*looks it over*

Given it lacks scales, teeth, eyes, wings, or miles of vertebrae, I could probably do it in a week.

In my experience, terrain-type pieces paint up much faster than people or creature minis.

I concur. Especially since it's big enough to mask easily, you could spray or airbrush prime the deck and then the hull the main colors and go from there. Gonna need to pick up >A LOT< more wash though. And start looking for minis to turn into a figurehead.

I haven't been painting that long so I haven't tried anything big yet.  I suppose that makes sense though.
