I really hope Reaper takes their time in its design and have a lot of open communication with the manufacturer so we don’t end up with issues where the manufacturer treats it like manufacturing a toy and not a hobbyist item like they did with Baba Yagas hut.

What happened with Baba Yaga's Hut

When originally shown, the hut  was intended to be open on the inside with thin walls and a removable roof to allow the inside to be playable space.

Edit:  and yes, like others have mentioned, the legs were planned to come as separate pieces.

not sure that update is something that would drive sales for the entire weekend but will see i guess.

They asked for a core add on, they got one. They can now pony up the cash and shut their pie holes.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do one of those updates that shows an upcoming mini but doesn't show the goal amount so they can generate some more interest.

But I mean... it should drive some sales anyways, it's adding to the core value.

yeah but i imagine ppl who want the core already spent $120.  core sets, unless they get brand new people, dont drive more money as its one price for all. same with expansions. just $50 unless ppl dont like part 1 and instead want to see whats in part 2 or 3.  the general add ons help more if they are impressive enough.

Hmm, just noticed something interesting on the Reaper store. The Bones 4 "Not packaged for resale" placeholders have disappeared. Maybe some releases coming down the pipe?

They said on ... yesterdays (?) Twitch stream that they just had a new shipment of Bones mini's arrive.

Those from Bones 1-3 will hit the store as soon as they can get them packaged.  The Bones 4 ones will release in a new wave on November 1st.

Some people could be like me, though, and be on the edge of buying an extra core set.  There's minis I want doubles of.  I know they usually split the core set later down the line but I'm thinking 2 cores might be worth it.

Well, with the Dark Elves bring it up to 131, the cost per mini is 92 cents each. That includes the big figs in there. If you are a fantasy player, wow. Just wow.

That's a true and fair thing to keep in mind.  I'm technically planning to get a 2nd core set, because I'm splitting the first one with a friend.

Though, I'm not going to be able to pledge any more, I don't think.  Today was a very bad, very expensive day... ::(:

Same here.  It's always nice to have a decent sized squad of things such as the Dark Elves, etc.  Or even two separate groupings in case of conflict within the race.

Pixies, Wyrms, Demonicity – Three Mini Role-Playing Games

Three ready-for-adventure mini-game boxed sets for your RPG game night, featuring the Tri-Stat System used in BESM Fourth Edition RPG.

If you're looking for role-playing games that are concise enough to crack open and start playing right away, yet sufficiently robust and evocative to support longer campaign play as well, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the Kickstarter for the first three Tri-Stat System Mini-Game Boxed Sets – a new line of compact and complete role-playing adventure games that are compatible with Dyskami Publishing's flagship BESM Fourth Edition anime and manga RPG. Tri-Stat System creator Mark MacKinnon has distilled and customised the complete system into distinct streamlined versions for each of the three adventure games – targeting their specific genres and background settings in easy-to-understand boxed sets.

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – it's time for your next great role-playing adventure!

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – These boxed set RPGs are games of adventure, exploration, battle, heroism, romance, and imagination. Yet unlike in a traditional board game, the possibilities for exploration and action in these role-playing game are endless.

Each of the three role-playing adventure games contains the following components:

a 32-page full-colour rulebook that gives your group everything you need to play, with sections on character abilities, magical spells/paranormal powers, weapons and equipment, enemy encounters, items and equipment, and guidelines for integrating the Tri-Stat System game with the compatible BESM Fourth Edition RPG
6 brief story scenarios so you can start playing adventures right away
6 pre-generated player character sheet handouts, with game stats and illustration
4 custom-etched dice specific to that boxed set

You can pledge for one, two, or all three of these boxed sets during the Kickstarter.

      ...

I know know nothing about these creators or the system, but I decided to back for Pixies entirely because of that picture of the corgi. 👀
