Some people could be like me, though, and be on the edge of buying an extra core set.  There's minis I want doubles of.  I know they usually split the core set later down the line but I'm thinking 2 cores might be worth it.

I'm already pledged for 2 cores, just because there are enough larger groups that I am going to want to field as wargaming units, plus I want seconds  (or more) of some of the individual ones.

Same here.  It's always nice to have a decent sized squad of things such as the Dark Elves, etc.  Or even two separate groupings in case of conflict within the race.

Yeah, exactly.  I've been painting drow for bregan d'aerthe in Dragon Heist that are more colorful, and I plan on doing another with a different style for the drow faction in Skullport.

On a sidenote, a drow gunslinger would be awesome.  I've been using Elthen Bluesteel for now.

That's exactly why I'm planning to get a (partial) second core set.  An extra set of Grave Kings, more Elf Ranger dudes to paint up as guards of an Elven forest.  There are absolutely uses for a second set of a lot of that stuff.

I really hope the Dragon Wolf gets broken out as a single add-on at the end.  I want at least 5 of them (one for each chromatic dragon).

Now we've gone beyond models and renders into concept art?

They look like the ones from the dark reach xpack, which I love.  The only think I dislike about them is that they all have the same hair style.  I kinda hope there's a part 2 for this kickstarter, I can always use more dark elves.

It's concept art, so it can change a lot before the end.  Personally I don't need any more elves, but whatever drives the pledges....

They asked for a core add on, they got one. They can now pony up the cash and shut their pie holes.

Dang straight!

Cool - I love the dark elves from B4.  Just got a couple doubles of the basic ones and elites.  I’m very pleased to see some more added to B5core.

I see Mr Ziploc isn’t spewing anything in the KS comments just now.  He must be frustrated that he can’t complain they’re not adding anything to the core.

A meta note: we are also ahead on comments in the enthusiasm thread. We didn't hit 234 pages until 14 days in on Bones 4. ::D:

First post from page 234 of thread:

In my case, I would know the trap had been sprung when I get home and the hut is already on Megan's side of the table.... (We.... may need to get two....)

The Auld Grump - it's already happened with the Bones III Sophie.... I could have sworn the figure just plain hadn't been shipped, but there she was, cleaned, primed, and partially painted....

You better get a third, Megan has plans for the second one as well. (End Quote) Original poster : Pezler the Polychromatic

No kidding!  I’ve been following along since the pre-launch thread and this things zooms by sometimes!

Is it greater enthusiasm/forumite, or increased noob volume driving up the numbers?

Both, the forums have seen a lot of growth the last couple years and those folks have been looking forward to this. Also, the growth of other media outlets is getting the word out to a lot of new folks.

I am tempted, even though it covers a lot of things we already have.

Pixies, Wyrms, Demonicity – Three Mini Role-Playing Games

Three ready-for-adventure mini-game boxed sets for your RPG game night, featuring the Tri-Stat System used in BESM Fourth Edition RPG.

If you're looking for role-playing games that are concise enough to crack open and start playing right away, yet sufficiently robust and evocative to support longer campaign play as well, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the Kickstarter for the first three Tri-Stat System Mini-Game Boxed Sets – a new line of compact and complete role-playing adventure games that are compatible with Dyskami Publishing's flagship BESM Fourth Edition anime and manga RPG. Tri-Stat System creator Mark MacKinnon has distilled and customised the complete system into distinct streamlined versions for each of the three adventure games – targeting their specific genres and background settings in easy-to-understand boxed sets.

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – it's time for your next great role-playing adventure!

Pixies, Wyrms, and Demonicity – These boxed set RPGs are games of adventure, exploration, battle, heroism, romance, and imagination. Yet unlike in a traditional board game, the possibilities for exploration and action in these role-playing game are endless.

Each of the three role-playing adventure games contains the following components:

a 32-page full-colour rulebook that gives your group everything you need to play, with sections on character abilities, magical spells/paranormal powers, weapons and equipment, enemy encounters, items and equipment, and guidelines for integrating the Tri-Stat System game with the compatible BESM Fourth Edition RPG
6 brief story scenarios so you can start playing adventures right away
6 pre-generated player character sheet handouts, with game stats and illustration
4 custom-etched dice specific to that boxed set

You can pledge for one, two, or all three of these boxed sets during the Kickstarter.

      ...

I know know nothing about these creators or the system, but I decided to back for Pixies entirely because of that picture of the corgi. 👀
