I don't think so...  there wasn't the fan base then.  Bones 1 was a very slow grower as I remember.

I couldn't get into wave 2 even though it showed a few hundred open slots, so I went with wave 3 and then tried to change spots.  It took ~90 minutes for it to process my request.  I had given up on it by then, so it was a pleasant surprise. 

 

But if fulfillment goes like last year it won't matter what wave you're in. 

 

Waiting for some of the offerings to catch my attention.  Quite a few figures I have in metal, or have no use for.  But things will probably change by 2021.

So.... When are they planning on a $1 tier for North Americans?  Kind of a glaring thing to not have a $1 tier for North America, but other regions do get this. 

 

At least that's how it's showing in the app, not that I've been able to get any pledge to actually work in said app.

Indeed it was very much unknown back then, so a slow start.

 

Then word of mouth got out, people thought it was an amazing deal (it was!). And by the final days, it went into overdrive.

 

Bones 2, that one had much more hype and publicity, so had a massive start, and set the trend for Bones 3-4-5.

They had one at launch for 1000 people. I couldn't get it to work until after it was gone.

 

The actual Kickstarter page seems to not be getting a lot of love and attention at all.

I think no one has taken the time to add new Waves for the $1 options.   They seem too busy just keeping up with the new stretch goals and updates.  Hopefully when things slow down they'll update the Wave potion of the page.

I landed in wave 6, but I wonder if I would be happier with a later wave. The tension of watching the shipping tracker wanes once you get your shipping notice. I wonder if I would enjoy the tail end of this thing more with a wave 9-10 pledge.
