They posted an interview with Bobby Jackson and Julie Guthrie to YouTube. At at the 6:30 mark Bobby makes a comment about having Jason and some argonauts in the Greek Odyssey expansion, to which Ron alludes to it being a part of the expansion. They also reference having a Golden Fleece.

It has no base.  When Ron and I discussed it he said that for retail they would likely include a 130 mm black base, but they weren't sure yet. I assume that for the KS, it will just be the spider, unless they add one at the factory in China. At any rate, I can't imagine why we would have gone to all the trouble of ensuring that it is free of a base only to attach it to a base (it was literally part of my design parameters to be baseless).

You might want to ping Ron. He was definitely talking about adding a base on stream. By the sound, it was a support issue.

I take it that you don't find the 74064 160mm base close enough to 6"?

I use a 1" gridded play mat. Some of my players are not as gifted in spacial geometry as I...

Not filling the proper space on the mat would... cause problems.

Plus, at 160mm it hangs over the edges of its space, making placement of human-size mini's next to it, in the proper grid space, problematic.

@Pezler the Polychromatic they started playing dumb about flumphs. Either they are doing a Ron and being coy/teasing or they were really unknowing about them.

It's possible that they might not know. As for Ron, every time I bring up flumphs and he denies it, I keep getting the feeling that he's pulling a Ben Kenobi on me. "What I told you is true.......from a certain point of view."

Maybe.  It's an interesting way to write it.  Either they are going to do like you say, and do a variety each in its own color.  But I doubt they will get involved with folks picking a color; so you'll wind up with a random one?.

Or, are they going to cast different parts of the same dragon in different colors?

Or does it mean they just haven't made up their mind what color???

In the bones 3 pledge manager they set it up so you could choose a different colour of weapon sprue. I don’t see why they couldn’t add an option to pick the color.

Better yet, leave it clear and have add on dragons available in different colors.

Love the Arakoth spider, looks very cool... but I will never get it as my wife is severe arachnophobic. She gets paralized just looking at the rendering on the screen!

You know, with so much nope that little spider is getting, reaper will end shipping it in a big brown envelope just like...some kind... Of vídeos...and...other stuff...er...not that I know about that...

In a more serious note less than 9k to go....

Ah, that’s right!  I had forgotten.    That would certainly be the ideal if they decide to go with producing different colored ones.

I can’t imagine sending out random ones wouldn’t just lead to a lot of unhappy customers...

@Glitterwolf regarding the Ship. Jon said it is still undecided about Translucent, Solid or both... so still in the air.

Ah it's going to be an Airship?

Right, all kidding aside, solid means I'll  buy it, translucent means I won't and if they won't be absolutely clear on the subject by the end of the KS I'm not even going to risk it.

https://www.wargamestournaments.com/product/round-bases/  they cut bases and have even larger than 150.

GW has 160 but gw is very overpriced.  i like their bases though.  i use rectangular bases (so squares, etc) so i made a rubber mold of their largest rectangular bases and pour resin to make my own.

if you dont care about the style of round bases, message me. i can check - i should have various sizes of mierce, GW, etc round bases.   can just send them.

i really like the new bones spider.  i think its look is even better than the arachnarok BUT of course, due to the high detail plastic and multipart, the detail in the arachnarok wont be met with bones, even bones black.  I think my preference now is: Gol Gul, reaper bones, arachnarok.

if ppl want to get an idea of a high end job on a spider, including adding hairs to its legs and webs, check this out (not my work):

heres a tutorial on how to do the webs that he put up:

the hairs are fake eye lashes.

Thanks for sharing! Eyelashes a great idea!

If you need a 4-6" square base, you might want to consider picking up a cheap bathroom or kitchen tile from your local home improvement store. I have used them for palettes in the past, and they rarely cost more than $0.50 at that kind of size. (unless you go for a fancy, specialty tile)

      Story
It was the Baron himself who nailed up the poster in Midlam the town square.
WANTED:  LADY WILDWOOD and sundry associated gang members - For Murder, extortion, petty theft and highway robbery.  REWARD - 10 Gold Coins for Lady Wildwood and 1 Gold Coin per gang member.
Speculation and rumour was rife!  Who were these new Bandits that were plaguing Midlam?  Who was the mysterious and dangerous Lady Wildwood? It seemed that the town had been under siege, first from Captain Grief's Gang and then the Hobgoblin Rainding Party, and now this gang of merciless women!
Bounty hunters muttered in dark corners of Inns, looking for information and squads of Town Guard regularly marched out into the surrounding countryside in their pursuit.
But still the robberies and raids continued...
      Waylaid by Bandits Volume Two
A gang of eleven 28mm scale bandits, thugs and ruffians, lead by the Notorious Lady Wildwood, for all of your fantasy miniature games.
      Waylaid by Bandits Volume One
You can also, should you wish, include our first bandit gang with your pledge.  Captain Grief's Gang is a series of of eleven 28mm scale bandits, thugs and ruffians, including the original stretch goal 'George the Grind'.  You could then mix and match your bandits or have them as deadly rivals!
      Waylaid by Bandits Volume One

It's only an 11 day  project, so hury up and back.

Tomb Guardians over the past year has been asked to release our miniatures in a resin/plastic material because a lot of you do not like metal.  So for nearly a year we have discussed and researched the best way to produce a high quality, high detail miniature that is far above the current standard on the market.  We are happy to announce that we have found a method and decided to release all our 28mm monsters in a High Resolution Resin.  These miniatures will come with a 1 year guarantee, if you break one we will replace it for FREE!  Just mail it back to us.   Bobby Jackson, Jason Weibe, Gene Van Horne and Patrick Keith help create these amazing creatures.  We hope you enjoy our Monsters and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
