something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

I kinda feel the need to get the skeletal halfling figure in case our halfling PC dies and the wizard decides to raise him, thereby horrifying the cleric who is BFF with the halfling.

Bones 4 had a skeletal halfling.

As for what we're getting...well I know there's a lot of things I'm excited for, but I've yet to have a sit-down conversation with both MrBoot and our budget to determine what is feasible. I expect we'll go lower than we'd like right now, but if I get a job in a few months as planned, I know where some of that cash is going!

I did already insist that MrBoot didn't need to get me anything for my birthday earlier this month, since I was counting Bones 5 as all of my presents.

Huzzah!

With the change in my job coinciding with this and another kickstarter I’m interested in,  I’m going to be lowering my pledge this week, which means changing my pledge from a Wave one to whatever wave the minimum pledges are on.

I don’t want to spend much $$$ on anything until I’m sure my transfer doesn’t interfere with my paycheck.

I do plan on adding  many many things throughout the months the pledge manager is open.

Anyway. I’ll post a heads up here before I do it so hopefully a forumite  here can move up to Wave one.

Apparently Jon has plans for one of the Hand spell effects - bending all but one of the fingers toward the palm, leaving the middle finger raised in defiance.... (Is Bigby's Upraised Finger a spell?)

The Auld Grump

What I'm hoping for is Bigby's Furled Broadsheet (giant hand with a rolled up newspaper). Got to keep that dragon wolf behaving properly!

An idea just came to mind and I wondered what you fine folks think?

Among the spell effects are a couple of pieces that meant to be added to a spellcaster mini as though they're coming from her hands.

What about doing the same thing on a larger scale? A breath weapon pack for dragons!?

Putting the Romance back in Necromancy?

Or the Bromance back into Necbromancy?

Think Evil for a second here. Be the GM...

If #1 is true and the PCs expect human zombies/skeletons then they will see #2, a halfling skeleton, as a tiny human. A child's skeleton. All the despicable evil and free horror of dead kids but none of the guilt. All of your victims are 100% adults so it's okay!

My players have learned to fear children in my games, living or dead. ::D:

The first day, I pledged $20, hoping for a better Chronoscope this time around, but obviously we haven't seen that yet. Even if we don't make it to the Chrono stuff [hopefully a smaller encounter type set] I can always use the paint and I will get Pete the Dragon too, just because.

How about that Monster Set?

The Flying thing looks alien enough as does the Insect like monster.

Clip the wings from that small Demon and you have an alien lifeform.

The tentacled brain can be used as an alien encounter.

Leaving the Catoblepas and the Krampus.

The Catoblepas is weird enough to make it alien livestock or a beast of burden.

Krampus would be the only one left, maybe something for a Christmas gift?

To be clear, I think the wall pack is a great idea. I'd buy a few.

That sounds good!

I won't even use them as spells but I can use some of that Thorn Wall and normal walls for basing and dioramas.

Ah, so there is precident. Probably just took them reading all the begging for a few days to realize they will sell more & earn more* by breaking the walls out by themselves.

* within the confines of the KS.

And now I hope they realise the same can be done with Scifi/Pulp minis.

The lack of small demihuman lesser undead makes total sense to me for a few reasons

1) humans seem more predisposed to necromancy in fantasy settings than other races and, more importantly,

2) why would you ever make a zombie or skeleton with a lower movement rate and smaller stature?

As I ran a AL encounter inside a dwarf mine, there wasn't a human or elf corpse in sight. It was all undead dwarves. Thus the need for demi human undead.

Again, this is something I've posted in the Bones Wants/Needs thread a few times. Minis are fancy tokens in a rpg but it would be nice to actually have them vs using human like undead for once.

Uhh.... wait, where?! Now I need to go rummaging through my box again!

I believe it was Bones 3; in the Undying Lords add-on

Less than $30,000 to goal this morning.  Hopefully the big ship announcement will help push that to the end zone today.  Otherwise, I guess we're looking at an unlock tomorrow?

I like to create armies for fun and display and usually I make up a background story.

To me the lack of non-human Undead has always been strange.

Here I am, a Necromancer or Vampire with Necromantic powers, I fight and kill on battlefields all over the World.

I battle Orcs, Goblins, Dwarfs, Elves, Lizardmen and any creature I encounter.

During those battles I lose troops and need to replenish them.

According to most miniature companies I will now wander that battlefield and raise the few humans I can find, ignoring the massive potential of the other races.

This doesn't make sense.

I will bolster my army with all I can find, and if there were Ogres/Giants and other powerful creatures among the dead I would welcome those powerful fighters.

Halflings, Gnomes? HA! Of course I would raise them, every army needs fodder to create a diversion or hold up the enemy lines so the real powerful troops can reach their objective.

Gimme Undead from all races and creatures!

Unleash Hell!!

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.

      Story
Wellcome to our biggest miniatures ever! Blood and Skulls ork rider is the largest and more detailed miniature in 70 mm scale that Nocturna models released in all of these years. This project is really monstruous and we need your help to fund it.
Take a look at all the figures in the campaign, all of them are in 70 mm scale. Blood and Skulls is 28 cm high!
        28 cm total size

I've bought everything this company has put out so far.  I'll probably pick up these two as well.  Really great figures based on classic artwork.

These two are both nude, so I can't show pictures here!

"The muses" is a range of miniatures offered by Golem Miniatures.
These 80 mm scale figures, in limited edition, will all come from realistic and oriental paintings of great painters of the nineteenth, a period that we greatly love.
During the fourth campaign "The muses", we had suggested that you submit ideas for the next muses. A vote had then been put in place to decide between the 27 muses that you had selected.
One muse dominated this vote: "La boîte à bijoux" painted by Guillaume Seignac.
To accompany it, a second muse has been chosen on the same theme: "human skin on animal skin". You will discover it below, hoping she inspires you! :)

During the third Muses campaign, we produced the magnificent Lady Godiva painted by John Collier, a famous English painter and one of the founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Here is another of his works: "Lilith" painted in 1889.
Lilith is a mythical Hebrew and Biblical figure (Adam's first wife), whom some see as the very first portrayal of feminism in history.

      Story
I'm Adam Sadler, senior game designer at Blacklist Games, and I love miniatures. They are what got my brother Brady and me into the hobby back when we were teenagers. Whether we’re using them in roleplaying games, board games, or tabletop miniatures games, we love collecting, assembling, painting, and playing with them. While Blacklist Games has published several of our games that feature miniatures, they saw our passion could be used for the creation of a new division that would focus solely on miniatures and allow for company growth in parallel with creating great board games. With everyone at the company excited about the possibility of this new division, here we are to share it with you!
Blacklist Miniatures will focus entirely on producing high quality, highly detailed, pre-assembled plastic miniatures to be used in any type of game. Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1, our first miniatures line, is not only a celebration of our love for miniatures, but also of all things fantasy.
With your support, this campaign will not only bring this project to life, but also open the door to other lines of miniatures in various genres and even new games to utilize them!
