Dwarven Ironclads I "think" I could scratch build.

There's also a number of ACW (American Civil War) 28mm models out here already that could be easily modified to suit a Dwarven fleet.  Still, I'd be all over a Reaper Dwarf Ironclad! (with crew!)

$5000  to goal (Subject to troll shenanigans!)

and 11 to equal Bones 4 backers

Edit: $4000 to goal now!

About 3'5" long by 9" wide at 1/52 scale. Doable.

Heck, I might copy the bottom layer of the reaper ship to get my sizes right, and scratch build from there. That's basically how they built the Virginia.

If I do this, I promise to post pics. Maybe I will track the build, never done that before.

I'm terrible at photo editing stuff but here is my basic understanding of the to be name $100 pledge monster vs the Dredmere rowboat, the 'Brinewind Launch' and the Stygian barge.

Oh wow!

I have the barge, and it's so small compared to this beast!

Awesome!

And I also want the sloop.

Hmmm...I'd like to see the back of that.  Doesn't look really wargame usable unless there's the rest of the mountain to go with it.

Are those yetis, or some sort of monkey?

And what's the figure on the right?

Wish it was some kind of free-standing shrine.

You could easily incorporate such a piece into a foam mountain.

Yes, but that's a lot of work to build a whole mountain to go with it.     And you still probably have to then make a separate interior piece to represent the inside of the shrine.

Is that a dwarf with a crossbow?

Or this shrine is sitting at the edge of the table.

Objective is to reach it from the other side, running the gauntlet.

meh....not interested.

Not really my thing either, although I like that this is more of an Himalayan/Tibet kinda style.

I will probably get those Snow Leopards in retail then.

The Yetis aren't my thing.

Now that's a workable solution.  I like it.

Still, as whole, I'm not that thrilled.  It's a lot of money for  mainly a big monkey face..::P:

"This Kickstarter marks the release of our two newest books in the Dungeon Craft series "Fallen Kingdom & Jungles of Dread". Both books have nearly 1,000 jungle-themed pieces in them, which allow DMs to build custom interactive maps in a brand new setting. As of this Kickstarter, we will have launched 6 total campaigns, and have brought numerous products to the market. Additionally, we're excited to announce jungle-themed versions of past projects will be brought back for this Kickstarter! This includes the Deck of Stories/ NPC Cards, Dungeon Notes, and new models from our miniature line Counterspell Miniatures. We'll also be unveiling new and exciting products like our jungle DM screen and our Crocodile Jasper D20."

      *******
1985 Games have launched their third Dungeon Craft Kickstarter.  The last two have been fantastic and I absolutely love them.  While I enjoy painting minis, I'm not a fan of building terrain or scatter, especially since it tends to block sight or get knocked over and is a pain to store.  These 2D terrain pieces are a great compromise. I haven't seen anyone else talk about Dungeon Craft on the forums, but I definitely advocate!  If you missed their last two KS there's opportunity to get those as well.  And for the first time they're offering some original minis as Add-Ons.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.
