KS 2 ran the expansions at the same time, at it did not work well.  Since we only saw a little bit at a time it was hard to get excited about spending 50$ on the smaller selections.  There was lots of complaining (as always) but little postive said to balance it out. I think they have gotten better results from finishing each one before the others arrive. I know I like this system better. 

I bought 0, 1 then 2  of the expansions - this time we will see.  I don't need this one, but if there is a greek expansion it is going to get a long look.

Now that is a paraphrase. (They also said the whole 7 hour stream would go on YouTube....so it ought to be possible to verify my wobbly memory.)

 

(IMO) The two things to keep in mind are: Reaper will hunt for the option that minimizes everyone’s shipping costs (but there are limits); Reaper won’t go broke or wreck it’s profits absorbing shipping costs. 

 

 

TLDR: A Germany-based fullfillment hub is not a certainty or a commitment at this point. It is just an option being given consideration.

 

I like that they appeared to have learned from the Brexit scare with Bones 4 where they locked themselves and us European backers into shipping from the UK farely early. We paid 19% extra for import fees into the UK, and then they tried to kinda rush it through before the first Brexit deadline, but where lucky the Brits delayed or else we might have payed more fees. I was kinda disappointed they wouldn't wobble or reconsider their original plan back then, so it's good they're just putting us EU people just in with the US waves right now. 

 

If they get another hub from Germany or the Netherlands or another EU country - great. If not, I'll pay my import fees myself when importing from the US, that's just fair. Prepaying those fees and THEN not knowing if it'll go through unbothered by custom agents and more fees was what got us to complain last time around.

They keep back pedaling that, so no. 

 

But, an Oriental Junk pirate ship would not surprise me. There are already a lot of options for Galleon / West Indies looking ships.

That would be amazing, and I'd be perfectly willing to consider that a pirate ship and move on to more important requests like a dire hamster.
