Venun
I just upped to 250 when I went through the list with my wife last night. We're nearing $400,- as it is. I had promised myself I wouldn't order the same amount as in Bones 4... But everything's just so.. pretty! o.o 5

You will just order MORE! See, promise kept. Easy peasy. 8

We did around 300 on B4, already at 1200 this time with all those goodies left to see. Hang in there, it'll be worth it when that big box shows up!

Alsafah79
I'm also going to use the yeti set for a jungle encounter. I will use the B4 apes along with the B5 yeti minis. I'll just paint them appropriately. Just another species... 3 hours ago, GMStuff said: What do you guys and gals think about using the Mandupar Pass with the Bones 4 Gorillas? I just finished painting our two cores worth of Gorillas and am wondering if it's worth picking up this encounter. Can't decide if those Yeti would look appropriate alongside the B4 Gorillas. Would appreciate any thoughts.

And we are still in for this one..(can't have enough dragons, wyverns, drakes and wyrms) and can't wait for things to settle here to get on with existing figures. Well my private inbox here is always open if you're looking to get rid of any of it. I'm really glad to hear you're doing this with your son. I am also, mostly son and his sister joins in on the painting as well (she's killer with dragons!) It's a really rewarding way to spend time with the kids I think so kudos to you! 2 minutes ago, Alsafah79 said: I'm also going to use the yeti set for a jungle encounter. I'm sold on it now, after hearing from you guys. 9 minutes ago, Venun said: But but.. what about storage space? xD 1200!? jeebus xD haha, you're in for a good time when it lands :D Question btw! Storage space. Well, Ikea has some great display cabinets that you might convince your significant other to allow in the living space... if you're lucky. LOL. Storage for the unpainted is the age old "stashed in a box in the basement" concept which keeps most of us from getting kicked out. ;) That's entirely too much to go through if it were me. Fortunately I've read the entire thread. I really don't think you'll be missing much by skipping it and just starting reading what comes fast and furious the next few days. If there's something specific you're in need of or a burning question you need answered, I'm sure someone would be glad to do so or at least point you to the proper place to look. So relax and just enjoy the ride!

Heck, I've sculpted more for these Kickstarters than I have painted, yet I have most of the minis from them. 12

Rather it is a triad of three paints, none of which are named "Medium Skin Tone." Color me confused. My Educated Guess, based on working on the inside, is that this New Product has not been developed past a cobbled together graphic. This means there is no written instructions prepared, since the models have not yet been made in Bones, so the actual paint colors have not yet been selected. The names in the graphic are basic place holder names; they are too generic for actual colors. My gut also tells me the colors will NOT be new for this project, but rather existing ones from the paint lines. "So we need a set of colors for this kit, lets go with sort of a medium-ish skin color, we don't need to decide right now, so let's pencil it in as 'medium skin' so we give an idea of what we are planning... purple, red, green, blue, some sort of steely metallic... a gold metallic, ... and of course a black and white." 13 6

Skallabjorn
I think the hierarchy is : In packaging, unassembled (have not opened package yet, probably for resale) < out of packaging, unassembled (opened packaging, checked for issues, first good look) < o.o.p. assembled (basic assembly done) < o.o.p, assembled, primed (cleaned, fills done, basecoat/priming done) < o.o.p., assembled, tabletop basic (3 colors+ black) < o.o.p, assembled, tabletop advanced (more than 3 colors+black, shading, highlights, finished base) < Display level (you know it when you see it) < competition level Feel free to add or modify this, just my opinion. Sadly, most of what I own is currently stage 3.

Welcome to the fun!! For Bones 4, by the time the last box was shipped, we had blown through well over 1000 pages of Enthusiasm! Best bet is try to catch up on reading the thread at least once daily.
