They said the Chronoscope expansion (encounter?) should have cryo tanks.  They will be trying to get more chronoscope information available tomorrow.  There will be a chronoscope encounter.

The Cryo tanks thing was merely j/k Reaper humour. Joke went as follows:

Setup: During the stream their access to to chat comments/feedback went belly up. While it was down...

They made comments (which may be movie references or memes) like: “try de-fragging!”, “stir the Cryo Tanks!”

Some of these catch phrases are evidently  long-standing recurring jokes at RHQ.

Meanwhile off-camera Reaper_Justin battled with the misbehaving tech.

Once they got the chat back various commenters typed things like “Add Cryo Tamks to the Chronoscope Expansion!” (I should know, I was one of them.)

After reading one or more of those comments was when the words “...Chronoscope should have Cryo Tanks...” happened.

It was only a lighthearted acknowledgement of feedback; it was not a hard commitment to create and add some kind of Cryo Tank Terrain item to anything.

I was there.....they did not promise anything.

I've been seeing a lot of people posting about getting a second Greek expansion, and I'm now being very tempted towards a second Dungeon Dwellers as a result. Most of the Greek monsters are one monster encounters or bosses for me, but I did the math, and out of 48 minis, about 30-32 of DD are mob encounters for me. Couple of things like the Treasure Dragon I only need one of or wasn't planning on keeping anyway, and there are 15 PC or NPC minis in there I don't technically need duplicates of... but who knows, maybe there will be a Canadian box of goodwill I can contribute to in the future. ::P:

They did not shoot it down and dismiss it as a terrible idea, at least. So dream on if you like.

Now to tap the brakes further, a set of Cryo-Tanks is very much a ‘raid-your-recycling-bin’ terrain project.

It seems cryo tanks might look good if made out of cryo tanks.

No, really, consider the small CO2 cartridges used in cooking. Tiny cryo tanks used to make homemade foams like fancy whipped cream. Easily emptied over the course of a few pies.

Or find someone with a BB gun, they will probably have a bunch of the small cartridges left around.

It wasn't so much the cryotanks specifically, but the idea that the chronoscope expansion/encounter would be fairly firmly in the SciFi side of things.

The BOGW often crosses the border into Canada, so no need to wait for a special one. :)

I was considering getting two of those sets for that reason as well. Also two of Deep Depths, and possibly two of Brinewind as well in order to get multiples of some of the stuff.   (Yes, I have a problem. ::P:)

A small but creative series of Garden Gnome miniatures by sculptor Tom Mason. Search for his name in the Reaper figure finder and you'll see some of his other work.

“The Gnome Guard” expands on the world of “The Adventures of Little Knife and Kronan” & ”The Goblin Menace” by introducing the stalwart guards of the garden.

One of the world’s most timeless lawn decorations can now come to life on your tabletop. Whether you need comparably adorable force to face off against other pint-sized foes, or you’re just obsessed with garden gnomes, these miniatures will make a great addition to any collection.

I have a few preview gnomes on my painting workbench. They are great! Small, simple, metal, easy to paint, but full of personality. [/unsolicited review]

Another “large collection of miniatures” kickstarters, reminiscent of the recent Blacklist Games Fantasy kickstarters.

I am tempted, even though it covers a lot of things we already have.
