Recommended Posts

Less than 20 hours, 2m810k... Well, the numbers have gone up and down like 4 times in 5 mins. but still, wonder if it's someone undecided or trolling, anyhow, at this point of the game pair of hundreds jumping around just make my display jittery-ish....

Damn, chrono and brinewind reeeeaaaallly looks like another hundred out of my wallet... Great cuhtulhu have mercy of me!

something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

I'd say you could mix it with other Reaper terrain pieces like the stone circle or parts of DDS2 and make some believable ruins for any kind of encounter.

Paint them in the same style and the players won't notice.  Honestly, ghouls are just target practice.

Ah, but just as some Snarks are Boojum, some Ghouls are Ghasts.

I keep thinking that one day I might get into actually crafting terrain, but I just don't have the space for it. Something seems more satisfying about that, though versatility is always something to work on. I would definitely need a whole different set of tools to do it - I'm already worried about how much paint I'm going to have to use to paint even one dragon.

Since a single bottle of Reaper Paint is 250 to 350 drops this shouldn't be a concern, unless you put great gobs of paint on your palette so that it dries out before you have time to apply it.

Check some of the 7 Day Challenge projects for a good idea of how much paint a large project should require.

i was thinking the same, actually. i'm used to ghouls being a bit more ghastly to look at

Hey, they're new ghouls, they haven't even had a real chance to rot yet. Cut 'em some slack, willya?

You know, that sound like some of my coworkers?....

@Bane Of Humanityi regret that I have but one like to give you... HA!

You know... Ok, I know deep in my bones that the style don't "fit" but chrono 1 really reminds me of Girl Genius... I'm the only one?

I'm having this problem too - I want to get into terrain a bit, but the tools, the space - oaf. I've found some great 3D printable stuff that I'd like to get into, but I don't have a printer and eehhh, that's a lot of money I could spend on minis.

Oh for sure! If I had those pieces. ::P: I'm sure I'll do it at some point.

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description

Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

      RPG Sidequest Decks

Ending soon. Card decks, each with a side quest. Pretty straightforward.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.
