I'm surprised that we haven't heard anything about an Izzy art book lately.

In the last one the art book was announced in the last 15m of the campaign, so we might see it tomorrow.  I think they were asked on stream one day and said "maybe".

Oh, they did Chronoscope II-III as a single unlock!

That's nice.

Or... as my pessimistic OCD brain says... dangerous! They don't expect enough pledge growth?

You are determinedly pessimistic!  Have faith!  This KS is already breaking records - the only one left to break is the total raised by Bones, and I think that is in reach.  I think in this case they're unlocking it all at the same time because the cost to make the chronoscope expansion is lower, since a lot of it is existing designs.  They didn't have to pay for as much new sculpting, like with Greek, Depths, etc.

You live in the most beautiful city in the world, by they way!

Reign of Fire !!!!

I had exactly the same thought.  And now I'm imagining a 5e dragon apocalypse campaign set in modern times based on Reign of Fire ...

Update 6:  my last update of the night

I changed the scale on the "$ to Ding" chart - I noticed it was getting too close to the end because I had the scale end at 6:00am.

I'm a little surprised!  Pledging and backers are still going strong.  I guess because this is the end for people in the Eastern hemisphere, so their final surge is tonight for us 'Mericans.  Pledging is pretty steadily at or above $10K+/hour, with about 30-50 new backers per hour.

At this rate, I think we'll end up with 18,500 - 19,000 backers.  I'm predicting total pledges will end up in the range of $3.3 - $3.7M.  The top end of that range would take 19,000 backers with an average pledge of $195, which doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Good night, Reaper fans.  Good work.  Sleep well.  We'll most likely kill the Bones record in the morning (I know - it'll actually be afternoon, but that's not the line!).

Seriously speaking, we really need some male mages that do NOT have a huge beard hanging from their face. That trope is getting old.

Yes!  We need young (or young-ish) dashing wizards too!

Great - that's the first I've seen of the cart/wagon!  I'm modifying that now.

And that's kind of what I'm getting at with the ideal ghoul mini:  I need a dozen highly-specific iterations of basically the same monster with different names far less than I need a dozen highly unique variations on the same player-character race/class combination...

It ultimately doesn't matter much that my people-eating, cave-dwelling savages all share the same basic models whether I call them orcs, goblins, hobgoblins, deros, drow, ghouls, or whatever.  They only exist long enough to have players throw some dice at them for a few minutes until they're forgotten.

It does matter that nine out of ten player character options come down to different variations on the same basic choice:  "do you want to play beardy wizard #1, #2 #3, #4, or #5?  Or would you rather play axe-dwarf #1, #2... etc?  Or, duel-wielding cloaked Elf Ranger #1, #2... etc.?  Or muscle Barbarian with axe #...?"  The players will be seeing those PC figures for a long time, and would ideally find exactly the right character model to suit the character, and then follow that mini for weeks, months, or longer....   They should have meaningful choices where it comes to their own characters!

Now I really want a young and/or female wizard wearing a visibly fake huge beard dangling from their ears like it's some piece of a wizardy uniform ::P:

I had one unlock ready when I sat down at work. One at lunch. And one when I checked my phone as I shut down my system for the night. Pretty efficient :B):

The only way to pack more unlocks in would have been one at first break and one at second break as well

Ravenhome feels like it'll be a vampire thing. Or maybe I've hung around too many Vampire the Masquerade games ::P:

Given the hypothetical possibility of a Ravenloft/Gothic Horror theme for Ravenhome, that does put an interesting light on some of those teased figures that don't have an obvious home yet:  the werewolf, the (vampire hunter?) girl with the hat and kukhri, maybe that stray skeleton archer and pair of horned devils?

Or maybe a Harry Dresden mini. Complete with Mouse.

We already have a wizard with a @Paradoxical Mouse, thank you. *pats pocket*

'Mouse' is the unironic name for a gigantic fuzzy 200 pound dog. He's mouse gray, the name totally fits, honest ::P:

We have some foo dogs in Bones 4 but those were all stone dogs. We don't seem to have a full-sized mastiff in Bones
