Has anyone considered using the Encounter at Gallowguard set not for tabletop gaming but ignore skeletons/scout minis and just use it as a prebuilt diorama base.  Paint it up and put whatever mini you want on that bridge as a display.

That's a great idea!!

I know it's not going to happen, but I'd love it if Reaper would throw in a small sci-fi add-on with a similar theme to the cyber reaver portion of the Chronoscope set.  Just 5 human sized minis as opponents for them.  Maybe jumpsuited starship crew?

I paint for tabletop RPG gaming, so the Encounter sets have been interesting to me.  The idea of the usual drawing the outlines of rooms etc on the grid map and then adding some of the Encounter pieces as "highlights" is similar to what I have done already with some of the Bones IV pieces.

The charnal pit didnt seem that interesting since it felt like it was all pieces that would just go into one room.  But the idea of having Goremaw or something crawl out of the pit and be the real challenge for the party is an awesome idea.

Welcome to the Forum!

Great Idea!

And might I add this can apply to the scenery of the Spiders of Emrith Kul and the Troll Bridge as well!

Maybe even for the Charnel Pit and the Mandupar Pass!

Just think of the scenery as excellent photobackdrops!

damn. they have my favorite silly wizard hat on the vampire mom

I'm trying to figure it out myself.  It is the Malificent? One of the original incarnations of Isabella van Carstein from Warhammer had a similar look, but I think it was hair-horns.

damn, I'll need this one as well.

So far, all the encounters are really nice. Wasn't sure about the Mandurian Pass, but bf wanted that one. I don't need more Skeletons, but the gate is my favorite terrain piece, and all the other ones just click with me.

I've seen a lot of people on the KS comments asking what the KS LTP kit instructions will cover.  I've been suggesting that they head over here to the forums to suggest to @Wren what they would like to see - has anyone done so yet? Should we (I) create a thread to point them to?

I know Rhonda's going to have something awesome in any case.

Am I crazy or is the $1 pledge missing for Americas?

They shut it off a couple days ago.  Last batch of  $1 pledges went up and they are adding no more.  Your lowest entry level is $40  -- the paint set -- but of course you don't have to get the paint.

And dang, that vampire set looks good.
