Wow, we have been traveling the last two days so I missed the end to this. It was a wild ride, 50+ pages to read. Congrats to @buglips*the*goblin, gonna have to get one of those! Also, need to figure out a way  to put a pointy hat on the rakshasa. I could have skipped the zombies in Chrono, but much better than last time. My heroclix players will freak when I use Godzilla in a game. And if all else fails, we can use one of the Succubi as Sophie...

I thought you guys might like a closer shot of the Cockatrice mini encounter that I worked on! I'm glad I got new pictures in on time. I had a lot of fun doing these guys! The Cockatrices were based on some excellent Izzy artwork, the nest was Ron's suggestion, and I thought it would be fun to include a little egg thief! 

 

It amuses me to think that the Halfling left behind the other treasures because, to him, the giant egg for second breakfast WAS the treasure! I didn't sculpt him specifically as a "statue" because I thought I would leave it to the painter to decide if he made his escape or not...

 

I hope you all enjoy them!

Yeah, the kids' pets/animal companions/familiars are almost worth the price of admission by themselves:  the dragon, bear, goat, dogs/wolves, etc. are great stuff!

 

Sorry they didn't get the miniatures you've been asking for - better luck next time!

 

Edit:  Oh, the cockatrice set is great stuff - thank you for the close-ups!  I especially like the halfling - nice touch!    He really looks like he's got a story behind him, I can almost picture the quest to find the missing halfling now....

The cockatrices (cockatrex?) are adorable!  They are one of the items that make me want that expansion.... in a few months when we can add more to our pledge.

Do you know whether the bar will be molded in a way to make the mermaid removable? She looks great, and I actually have an in-game location for which she is perfect, but the option to make the bar more generic would also be nice.

 

That’s how I’m sculpting her (though some of the ropes will be a part of her), but it is not possible to know how China will choose to recut the model, so no guarantees.

Yes, that should work. The timbers on the far end of the long bar are a bit rough, but they don’t extend much past the post. 

 

 

@GHarris:  Love the cockatrice set. Nice pixel pushing there!
