Reaper Bones 5: Enthusiasm and Commentary thread

I'm most looking forward to the kids, the goat(!), and Mandupar Pass I think. I play a lot of halflings in non-traditional classes (not a rogue) so it's hard to find minis that signify what I want very easily. And the yeti encounter just screams pulp to me and will probably get used for Savage Worlds or Adventure! or something similar.

The kid adventurers will be great halflings and gnomes, to be sure.

I'm definitely looking forward to the ship. I have never run a nautical campaign, but it looks like I'm going to have to do so at some point. It's a shame my campaign world doesn't really lend itself to a seafaring campaign in the same way as a world where the oceans are continuous...

Time for a New World!

I am learning that having multiple settings is both useful and exhausting, and only one is my own.

BUT it lets me run the games I want to run. ::): So, Bard's Gate for kids, Eberron for pulp high fantasy, and my unnamed Norse setting for kingdom building.

Damn! I want that undead giant! ::D:

Got my prize from the Reaper Live giveaway a couple of weeks back yesterday. For some reason, I thought there were supposed to be dice, but I didn't get any. I did get Petey D, the Pizza Dungeon Dragon, Rose Gold paint, a sample paint bottle, and the cup and sticker. I don't know what I'm going to do with that dragon...

Aside from the ship, I look forward the most to the Dark Depths, The Goroloth and Arakoth.

Also...I want to take that Lion Dragon, remove the wings and make a giant sabretooth from that.

Fluffy! MEOW is quite pleased at your offering and coming to the Dark Side ...err, the right side!

What's the thing that you're looking most forward to for this KS?

Yes. All of it

The 2nd & 3rd parts of Brinewind are really exciting, especially with the ships and the dark depths expansion.

I’m excited to see what they do with all the concept art. I already like what @Rainbow Sculptor has done with Circe and the satyr (although, he needs a little tail). I’m really hoping that sea giant turns out fantastic.

I will not be getting the ship. Too big. Too ship. I'm not my dad.

But I will be seeing the ship. Perhaps I may even get the chance to play with it. One of my gaming group is getting the ship. I expect he'll want to show it off.

Buy it for your Dad!

Probably the one item I am looking forward to the most is the Goblin One Man Band in the Core Set Goblins. I mean, I bothered people almost every day about getting goblin musicians on ks and twitch. And then they delivered, and in the core set no less. Kind of feels like I have to be most excited for that now. I plan on getting five of them. One to paint as normal, one to paint to match the image in my head, one to give guns to (don't ask), one to impale (music critics), and one to cannibalize.

Barring that mini, I'm pretty excited about the Sandra Garrity Amber Dragon in the core set. It's an old favorite of mine and I'm looking forward to getting some in the bones (or bones black) material to play around with and potentially modify.

Put me down for what redambrosia is having.
