The giants. Cloud giant, storm giant, and the sea giant, specifically. And the kid heroes are awesome.

+1 for giants.  The Storm Giant and the new Yephima were my favorites from the previews, and I don't think anything has topped them.

I'm very fond of Reaper's giants in general.  They've got a great mix of dynamic sculpts with just the right amount of cartoony proportions.  Even the Fire Giant Hellbringer is a great addition to the line, despite being kind of sub rosa in the kickstarter.  I can't wait to see what the Sea Giant looks like!

I still need to look back over everything to remember what I'm excited about, cuz there's just so much! Townsfolk are still quite near the top of my list, though.

Even though we have no need and no space for that ship, I really can't stop thinking about it. So many fun ways to paint it keep popping into my head!

Huzzah!

--OneBoot :D

Yeah... that ship calls to me. And as I'm definitely getting the Brinewind Expansion and Extras... it'd be a shame not to get it...  And as I'm painting the raft and rowboat tonight...

As for what I'm most looking forward to?

The dinosaurs! Both Fantasy and Diamyo, those sexy dragons, the wraiths, bronze golem and hydra, nearly everything in Fan Favorites... So much good stuff.

As for what I am looking forward to the most from the KS - it is probably the Elf Rangers - every time I see my painted Anirion (77068) and Arthrand Nightblade (77049) minis on my shelf, I can't wait for their brethren from the Core set to join them.   I'd have to look at the campaign page again to remember anything else.

Yes. All of it

The 2nd & 3rd parts of Brinewind are really exciting, especially with the ships and the dark depths expansion.

I’m excited to see what they do with all the concept art. I already like what @Rainbow Sculptor has done with Circe and the satyr (although, he needs a little tail). I’m really hoping that sea giant turns out fantastic.

Ahem

*Looks pompous*

A goat's tail is called a 'scut'. (As are those of deer, sheep, rabbits, and hares.)

The things you learn when your girlfriend (now ex) was going to an agricultural college. ::P:

I would like more like this!

And if possible with an artillery train and oxen..

Yes!  A group of 5 of these would be great!  And a handgun unit to go with them.

Looking forward to all the unit builder groups, the siege engines, the Dwarf King’s Crypt,  some of Dark Depths, some of Brinewind, and some of Chronoscope.

Does it seem like longer than usual for Kickstarter to be sending the backer info to Reaper?  I don't seem to remember waiting over 2 weeks before... more like a week to 10 days...

I dunno. But then I understand all the parts of: “...wait patiently...”

(That was in fact Rule 4: for CATIA operators: wait patiently. That Mil-Spec CAD system will teach a body patience let me tell you.)

Ok, I just checked; for Bones 4 the Kickstarter ended on September 2nd 2017 (Update 77), and the Pledge Manager opened on September 10th (Update 78). Eight days.   So remembering it going much more quickly in the past was correct.

I note that the number of backers is larger on this one. I’d expect hiccups, exceptions, last minute problems, people’s cards getting replaced, and other stuff &  nonsense increased rather exponentially as the number of individual records (backers) increased.

Edit: Ignore as I was looking at dollar totals, not backer totals for some unknown brain hiccup reason.

Yes, agreed that more backers equal more time.  There was about 250,000 more backers for this one than Bones 4 which is a bit over a 10% increase in number of backers, and the difference in time it has taken for the Pledge Manager to open is now over twice as long as Bones 4.

I have no problem waiting patiently. My pledges are going to be spread out over the whole next year anyway, and the actual arrival of the minis much longer after that.   I just find it a matter of interest that there seems to be a much longer delay than on past Kickstarters, in a kind of  "Things that make you go, Hmmmm..."  kind of way,  even considering the increase in backers.   And if I'm the only one who finds it interesting that's cool too.   It's something to think about between the occasional Updates we get.

Ah, please forgive my ignorance

Cute little tails are just known as cute little tails to me and no amount of fancy science talk will ever change that
