Disciple of Sakura
There's also corpses tied up in the raft, too. I have no idea what's going on with that thing. I'd definitely love to know if it's a reference to something...
TheUncannyAK
The raft is a reference to "Tales of the Black Freighter," a comic book that one of the characters reads in the Watchmen. 5

Maybe a smidge over. They just clarified that the BBQ grill will just be ONE grill, they were just showing you what all you can do with the lid. Next month the Bones 4 Roc will hit retail release, FYI. A smidge over I can live with. Just no 40mm. (Not that I wouldnt buy them but,I want them for gaming also...)
DragonWyrm
The henchmen look nice. It looks like the lantern can be easily repositioned (it should be behind his head so that he doesn't blind himself). Not so much for the torch.
72moonglum
The flask thrower reminds me of this old school Grenadier piece:
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted November 23, 2019 Moderator Share Posted November 23, 2019 I’m a bit disappointed that this obviously wip sculpt shown at ReaperCon never made it into the kickstarter. I was expecting him to appear in the hirelings group.

I just opened that image in Gimp and using a pixel measuring tool, the black base of the zombie on the right (presumably a 1" base) is 57 pixels wide. The base of the kneeling succubus just to the left of the zombie is 63 pixels wide. So that's a touch over 1.1" (or 27.63 mm). Certainly doable, but I'd prefer they were just 25mm. If you cut the bottom tier of stairs off the standing one, that second step was ~52 pixels (0.91 inches, or 22.8mm). Not exactly the most practical solution, but it's certainly a possibility. Rob Dean
Now that the renders are showing, I’ll need a hireling/henchman set...when we have time to play here, it’s usually original D&D (0e...) rather than anything more recent.
lexomatic
The henchmen and hirelings set would be good for a skirmish game like frostgrave

To explain a bit further, cos i love it so, in the comic the raft serves as a metaphor for the villain's machivellian scheme - as a shipwrecked mariner races to save his home from pirates by building a raft from the bloated corpses of his drowned shipmates, so the villain of the main story tries to save the world on the backs of murdered innocents (and one 'raw shark'). In the process, both become monsters. The raft is the standout piece of the whole KS for me. 7

Disciple of Sakura
I think that 10' pole may actually be longer than 10', judging by the distance based on scale. Looks almost like 15' as a ballpark estimate. Not sure if I'll get the hirelings or not. Several of them could be solid NPC/townfolk figures, and a couple might be functional for PCs, too. My players almost never actually have hirelings, so it's not something I've ever really needed.

So you get at 15' pole! 5 1
