something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

There was lots of stuff shown off on yesterday's Bones 5 Live episode.

In addition to the wall sections that I posted yesterday, they have added the modern scenics terrain pieces to the pledge manager.  Renders of these were posted a few weeks ago (the camp fire, tent, pay phone, port-a-john, etc).

Here are some screen grabs of all the Bones 5 stuff they showed off.

A 3D print of the gem dragon, which will come in clear translucent plastic.  They noted there are still a few minor adjustments to be made to the sculpt, but what you get will basically match what is shown, aside from the color.

A turn-around render of the butchered shark from Brinewind.

Several of the pieces from the Dwarf King's Crypt encounter.  They are planning (hoping?) to have the eternal flame be translucent, so you can paint a more realistic flame effect (or in my hope, put an LED in the base of it).

The lid comes off the sarcophagus and the dead dwarf king's corpse can be found inside (that corpse piece [the whole octagonal textured bottom] is separate, so you can take it out and leave the inside of the sarcophagus empty if you want).

Then a bunch of spin-around renders of the fantasy and Daimyo dino people.

The Daimyo 6-armed skeletal undead thing (sorry, I forget what it is called).

There was a spin-around of the undead dire wolf from the Core Set:

...And lastly, a spin-around render of the Dragon Wolf from the Core Set:

Seeing screencaps of the turnaround render for the daimyo dinosaurs has me lukewarm on them (up from "not with a ten foot pole" and "why dinosaurs in such a theme?" territory), as they do seem like nice sculpts.

To be clear, I think most all of those are the fantasy Dino people. The samurai triceratops is the only Daimyo one, I think.

I'm debating getting two dwarven king's tomb encounters, but I won't need two sets of the living dwarves. I want the terrain duplicated, along with the zombies, but I don't think I'd have any use for extra dwarf dudes.

Spare generic NPC jar?

I want to see more Encounters in Bones VI.

Agreed. I am very pleased with the development of the encounter design. I think I'm planning to get every one of them except the Mandupar Pass yeti encounter (just wouldn't get any use in the games I run), and I'm planning to get multiple copies of the Ravenhome encounter. Those ruins will be very useful in gameplay, especially in duplicate/triplicate.

Yep, I'm planning on two as well.  That statue is just asking to be part of pair guarding an entryway...

Extra Dwarf dudes should be easy to re-home somewhere, either as a sale, trade, or a gift.

I like the encounters idea as well.

I’m wondering if they’ll be sold as a set at retail, or if they’ll be sold by their individual components.

What examples from previous Bones projects were only sold as sets?

Dragons Don't Share 2... (Well, at least parts of it are only in the full set.)

Any others?

Like others I'm planning to get 2 Dwarf King's Crypt sets. Gotta have 2 of that dwarf statue.

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description
Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.
Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

      RPG Sidequest Decks
Ending soon. Card decks, each with a side quest. Pretty straightforward.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.
