Completely agree.

I can't think of an any sort of use for it in any game, yet somehow I really want to paint one.

same, i'll have to get it at retail

i only wish the shark mouth was open, their mouths flop open without any muscle control to keep them shut when they're dead and hung like that

something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

What examples from previous Bones projects were only sold as sets?

Dragons Don't Share 2... (Well, at least parts of it are only in the full set.)

Any others?

Like others I'm planning to get 2 Dwarf King's Crypt sets. Gotta have 2 of that dwarf statue.

Well that’s just it. As far as I can recall, nothing from the previous Bones kickstarters has been presented as an “encounter” before, and there’s what, 4 of them on offer in this kickstarter?

I suppose it could be argued that Dragons Don’t Share and the Dwarf Kings Companions were presented as sets in their kickstarters.

DDS was sold as a set at retail, DKS was not. It’s pieces were only made available individually.

Does anybody know where i can see a video with the Deathrattle Ballista in it, not just the rendering?  Or at least the rendering with a size indicator of some kind?  I looked back at all the Bones 5 Live videos and saw no demos.  I pledged rather a pretty high amount compared to the average pledge (call it temporary insanity), and I am trying to decide how many ballista add-ons i would like.  Reaper has been good about showing most everything else, at least over time.  Friday's showing of the dragon Wolf rendering was promising.  Any info on the ballista would be appreciated.  The Catapult is too big for me to consider for my purposes but if the ballistas are much smaller, i might get 3 or 4.

I have been figuring the wheels on all three siege artillery pieces are planned to be identical in size. If that helps?

But there is no particular reason to make them identical in size. The wheels do seem to be identical in design. But they could shrink or enlarge them to suit.

I'm thinking,  retail will probably be full sets or individual figures. Only way terrain is sold is full set.

I'll be getting a bunch of the encounters even with having Fat Dragon & other stl file terrain. Good stuff!

I suspect that the decision about whether to sell as individuals or sets will depend on how the pieces are set up in the mold(s). If they're all in one mold, they will almost certainly be sold as sets, since otherwise you're guaranteed to have one part sell better than the rest, leaving you with the extras of the lesser selling items that would be molded at the same time to build up in the warehouse.

If I get two of those, my hope is that I can cut the King off the top of the second sarcophagus and put a female dwarf on there. Just not sure which Bonesium female dwarf would work best based on the positioning.

Ohhhhhhh, I like that idea and will have to steal it!

I think the best choice in Reaper's catalogue is GWYDDIS, DWARF VALKYRIE

I think you may have found a winner.  Might have to reposition those arms though so they’re  in closer to the body

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description

Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

      RPG Sidequest Decks

Ending soon. Card decks, each with a side quest. Pretty straightforward.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.
