Okay, I think I'm gonna have to find a Wile E. Coyote mini just so I can get the catapult and put an ACME sticker on it...

I just had an idea for this. I think I'm going to remove the shark and hang a dead adventurer from it instead. I figure if surface folk can pull stuff out of the ocean to drag it on land to butcher, then why wouldn't all the underwater people pull stuff off the land to drag underwater and butcher?

That's a nasty looking stinger Arakoth has on that abdomen.

With something that size, even if it's weak venom, if you get a few gallons of it pumped into you, you're gonna feel it.

I assumed that it was a weaponized spinneret. Instead of venom you get shot full of web strands that spread through your cardiovascular system until it starts choking off blood flow.

Last Monday my PCs ran into a spider. It was suppose to be a couple of phase spiders but we did that the previous Weds. Instead, I decided I have the new cave spider (Bones Black #44057) but no actually 5e stats for a Huge sized spider (WTH?). So browsing on the net I come across one called a Fiend Spider, a homemade critter. It was a demon infused spider & it was Huge sized, perfect!

It ended up having resistances to both Cold & Fire & when it shot it's web it restrained it target but also did fire damage + if the target was still restrained by the webbing the following rounds, they would take fire damage. It was a nasty but fun encounter for all involved. The barbarian who has like 70 some hps got KO'ed in the battle.

I told my party, that I didn't want to do anther phase spider encounter & I had this mini & they didn't mind the change. I can't wait to see their faces when I plunk down this new spider-baddie!!

The last few times I have plunked down phase spiders in Pathfinder, they have been NPCs more than monsters.

Now Arakoth... I have a place for her in the Blight campaign, making her webs in the Between.

Bones 5 related stuff from last night's twitch stream.

Arakoth the Ancient is now going to have a base.  The 3d test print just had all ball-and-socket joints for the legs, and they assembled it wrong (legs in wrong places), and it has a block of greenstuff holding up its body (which they never show in the photos).  So this base helps his legs from splaying, and has a rock to help support his body.  They also plan to make the legs attach via different-shaped pegs and holes, to help keep them straight as to which leg is supposed to go where.

The base is hollowed out underneath.

Here is the butcher that goes with the strung-up shark from the Brinewind expansion.  They also showed a test print that ended up too small.

The next bits were implied to be included in the semi-monthly update that will go out on KS later today.

The graphic for Henchmen and Hirelings has been updated.  Ron stressed once again that these are not final renders (I believe he said previously that the ones they showed a few weeks ago were "90% done").  But, these are an accurate representation of basically what you will get.

They had the renders for the Dark Elf unlock that was added to the Core Set.

A Dark Elf Paladin, a Scout/Archer, and the Dark Elf Alchemist, with her fungal treant companion.

I'm bummed about Arakoth. I know that the sculptor said he'd been instructed to build one that didn't require supports, and he had done so. Not sure why it suddenly needs a base, but a hollow one that size may very well warp and be a PITA to deal with. Here's hoping, though. My Cave Spider did fine without the stalagmite impaling it when I rebased it...

I'm hoping that the shape of Arakoth isn't altered at all.  Maybe his three or four legs touching the ground will be "level" despite the alteration of adding a base, and hopefully that will allow the end use to mount it much like the 3d print is, if that is desired.

Edit: I asked about Arakoth during today's twitch stream, but the answer was jumbled, so I can't tell you if the sculpt is being altered to account for the base or not.

I saw that they kind of "officially" announced the Pledge Manager being open in today's update...anyone heard any info on the status of adding PayPal?

      Story
Depending on the amount of orders received for each project, delivery dates might vary. The initial shipment dates indicated are not final, and even though we're committed to giving all our customers the best service we can, sometimes the amount of orders received might make the final shipment date vary compared to our initial estimates. Please keep this possibility in mind before placing your order.
Regarding both the bundles and the stretch goals described above, no swaps of model of any kind are allowed. Therefore, please don’t ask us to swap any stretch goal with other add-ons or any perk models with other miniatures, because that cannot be done.
We created something for those who like to not take themselves too seriously, for those who would like to relax while painting - with less details, but by no means not enough of them - for those who love their minis with a side dose of cuteness overload and, finally, for those who might have children to introduce to miniature gaming, by giving all of these people something that players will love (or hate, as the case may be) no matter their age!
Wait a minute… delivery estimated after only two week after the campaign ends? A Greebo campaign?!
Oh yes, and here’s why: because we’ve started production already! We’re convinced that we can reach the campaign goal, at the least, and that’s why we started the manufacturing process of everything. Therefore, the second you complete your Pledge Manager (let us remind all of you, if you don’t complete it, there will be no shipment, so do it!) your package will be processed and sent, just like that.
We want to open and close this campaign in record time, and we’re confident that we can do it!

Kobolds Vs. Goblins is a game designed, tested, built and played by my son Max and me (You saw him in the video).  The concept was something we came up with for a contest on The Game Crafter using roll & write mechanics.  What we ended up making was a fast and fun game that can be played by people of any age.  It's quick and easy to learn and setup is as easy as opening the box.
Max and I decided that people shouldn't be forced to buy our game just to play it.  So, you are free to download the full color print and play version of the game using this link.   FREE PRINT AND PLAY  (including solo mode) You'll need 6 normal D6 dice and something to mark the paper.  (For prototyping, we used clear cubes, but pencil with eraser will work also)

I'll admit... I have no idea how those of you who share KS from others include all the details and fancy stuff. I clearly didn't do this correctly. Munchkin Metropolis traditionally does woodcrafting, and I've been very satisfied with the quality and production time that's come from my prior interactions with him. Figured I'd try and get the word out about his current KS, which he developed with his son.

      A message from Secret Weapon:

      Big news time everyone!
As many of our pledgers know, we need to adjust the Kickstarter - On the positive, we have a good amount of backers and we know that MANY of you are waiting to up your pledges. We have had a really positive response to the product itself, and lots of interest on the customer and retail side. We deeply appreciate this and your support.
BUT - we have a good amount of backers who are opting to wait on their $1 pledge. This is entirely our fault. We caused this when we locked our core offering behind stretch goals. There is no single item that is core. ALL the options are core. We made it so that many of you had to wait around to buy what you already knew they wanted.
That's a big boo boo, but it was made with the best of intentions. The system was set up so that there was no mandatory amount, and you added what you wanted and nothing more. We thought that this was better for the customer, but it quickly became obvious the vast majority of backers want jump-in points at set amounts like a usual KS... and weren't entirely sure about a pledge manager that was open during the campaign.
So, what are we going to do to fix this for you?
We are going to close the campaign, and relaunch it next week. That sucks and it's embarrassing. But ultimately everything else that happens is great for EVERYONE, because this is what happens next:
1.) ALL themes will be shown and unlocked right off the bat. If you want Urban Streets or Infinity, you just go get it, no hoops or delays to choosing what you want. You also know exactly what is on offer.
2.) There will be pledge levels: $50(+), $100(+) and $200(+). The 100 dollar + level will include a set of 3 weathering pigments (really really good ones too - Burning Sands, Dark Earth, and Rust Orange), and the 200 dollar + level will be the pigment set, and a set of 3 genuinely awesome paints. Secret Weapon's Rubber Highlight, Rubber and Tire Black, our most popular colors! At the end of the campaign you will use the Pledge Manager, as usual, to make whatever specific choices you want based on your KS pledge. The Pledge Manger will be available during the campaign for those that would like help figuring out a total pledge level, but that is optional, and you can wait until the end of the campaign to sign up.
3.) Each of the $50(+), $100(+) and $200(+) pledge levels will have 3 shipping zone options
      Americas, Europe (NOT UK)
      AU, NZ, Asia, Pacific
      United Kingdom (NOT Europe)
4.) Any extra themes that are developed during the course of the KS will be added immediately, no stretch, we just give you the option as soon as it is available.
There will be 17 themes live at the time of launch, which doesn't count the licensed product from Corvus Belli and CMON Zombiecide.
