Updates ... 17 & 25 have scale images on a 1" gridded cutting mat, IIRC. Update 45 has pictures of some stuff with Sir Forscale, but not on a grid.

Thanks very much. Looks like Aganzarax is definitely untenable as a Huge dragon, since even his base overhangs a 3" grid. Bummer, but not entirely surprising. It's such a pretty dragon...

The equivalent to the reapermini.com/bones4 still doesn't exist, does it? reapermini.com/bones5 redirects me to the KS page. I think there was talk about making a similar picture hub for this KS and I feel like it's really needed. We're getting so many pictures (which is great!) but they're being posted on facebook, the KS updates, this thread or in the twitch stream, which isn't great for finding them again, 3 months later when making your selections.

I almost wish, as real images of the products get produced, they'd at least update the PM with non-render images. The PM doesn't even have pictures of the expansions or Core set, which is a bit of a bummer. It was nice seeing everything in one place last time.

something i drew many many many years ago   seems fitting

I totally agree with you in that those particular exaggerations are not very realistic in function. This was a challenging character/figure to create because I wanted her to read as feminine but als

On Thursday and Friday they showed off a 3d print of the Yog-Sogoth elder god miniature.  I'm a little concerned by Ed's statement on Thursday that they expect to cast this in classic Bones.  If that is the case, this thing is going to sag badly.  Hopefully they have the foresight to cast the pillar section and the base in Bones Black, and the tentacled bits in classic bones (to prevent them from breaking easily).  But I don't know if they've ever done a mini in a combination to two types of plastic before (I doubt it).

The 3d print was impressive and spinning; I tried to get a shot from each angle of interest.

Yeah, I'm the one who was asking if it will be Bones Black.  I really do hope they do either a mix, or full on Bones Black.  Yeah, it's more fragile, but it will hold itself togethr a LOT better.  Classic bones in that pose will look nice, then a week later will startle you as it falls over and faceplants, making a loud bang on the table - or floor.

From the things they've said, a mix is extremely unlikely to happen. The two materials (at least last time) were done by different companies in different factories. The logistics of combining products not made in the same building by the same people would be ... daunting.

I'm not convinced that there would be a problem with that figure, though. The mass is supported in two places and the long bits are thin enough to not have a great deal of moment arm. Much will depend on how much they can limit the undercutting (which will affect the minimum amount of plasticizer.)

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description

Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

      RPG Sidequest Decks

Ending soon. Card decks, each with a side quest. Pretty straightforward.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.
