The Friday Reaperland show did a better job of showing the ship length.  The yellow tape to yellow tape length is including the bowsprit.  They then set the figurehead in the appropriate position relative to the bowsprit tip and the stern.

Oh. That's shorter. I don't want it anymore.

Those figureheads make great busts/large minis on their own..

There was discussion on Reaper Live about that same thing - many were asking about bust options for them.  Ron and Ed seemed receptive to the idea.

I am pretty sure we are getting two of the ship.

Maybe three.

Ghost, Pirate, and Hero.

Tempted to get a bunch of WizKids ballista, but cannon is more fitting for most pirate games.

Maybe get two larger cannons, chase guns, with chests of chain shot.

I will get one, I don't like duplicates.

Pretty much the same here, although I suspect the other part of said equation is where would I put a second one?  That's a rather large boat to have in one's living room, to say the least.

As gorgeous as the ship is, I just cannot justify the space it would soak up. Sadly...

I’m on the same page as you.  The amount of storage space it requires (and the amount of time it would take me to assemble and paint it) vs the number of times I’d actually use it in a game, just don’t  justify the purchase to me.  I have a sailing ship already that’s about 15” and that has served me well enough so far for any pirate ship needs I’ve had.
I love it though, and if I get some windfall of money I still would consider it;  as it is a once in a lifetime bargain at the KS price.

With the idea to mount them forward, near the anchors...?  (I am a little surprised it has no chase guns as designed.)

I'll consider magnetizing the figureheads so I can swap them around. I'd also contemplate adapting the dragon bust for it, if it's the right size.

On cannons: Pillars of Eternity 2 has these flame-thrower cannons with dragon heads on them, would love to see something like that.

I'm getting 1 ship. I bought it with my initial pledge. I figured even at the KS price, I'd better use what I already have in there for it. It'll be a nice to compare it & the Falling Star Unpainted I got last month.

(Dang, I'm gonna need allot of "wood" colors............)

If I get one (likely, but not certain... Its so big) it will only be one, and I'll find every excuse to use it in every game...

"This game will be a pirate themed game, and this will be your ship."

"We begin the game in a tavern. It's a dockside tavern, built in the hulk of an old sailing ship."

"As you ride across the desert, you see a sand ship approaching in the distance."

"When you reach the top of the mountain, you find what appears to be a shipwreck. You have no idea why it might be there, but you suspect that 'a wizard done it'."
