IME, big terrain pieces are not at all easy to transport in a car. Terrain and large models tend to be quite fragile, which means that you can't pile anything on top of them, that you can't allow them to move during the trip (even if somebody pulls out right in front of you), and that you can't put them in a place where other stuff will slide into them. That usually means in the cabin and secured from movement. The floor wells can work pretty well for some things, since stuff doesn't usually fall off the floor. And there's always the option to build a custom travel case for whatever, but that is often as much or more work than the piece itself, so not what I'd call "easy". This is exacerbated if you have more than one person in the car, since that will remove one or more seats worth of space.
PaganMegan
We have a smallish, shallow, under the bed style plastic box for transporting KoW terran. But there is a reason we run wargames at home when we can.

Fairly certain I reported from one episode of Reaper Live that the plan was to make the flame* translucent. *I'm unsure right now if that was the pillar for the flame as well, or just the flame.

Yeah, I was quoting you. I'm just wondering if that's still part of the plan...

For us it is two people in the car, which means backseat only plus then there are all of the other books, miniatures, tech for electronic only books, etc. Add to all that the loading and unloading of everything each time from an apartment and anything that large or bulky is impractical for us.

Sanjay Reasonable for a convention a couple of times a year, and similar to what I do when I need to do that sort of thing. But for your regular Saturday gaming session, the packing, loading, unloading, unpacking, repacking, reloading, re-unloading, and re-unpacking gets to be a bit tedious.

Since i used to play warhammer, i have my extra large warhammer army case, so all smaller, medium and large figures go there . BUT all our larger stuff wont fit in that, so that i would transport along with a giant knife etched dry erase marker board, books, etc. BUT we also played much longer each session than most ppl so it was worth the effort. hehehe (most sessions were 12 + hours with some into the 20 range). Recently, longest sessions we've done are 8, but most are 6. now we play here, so not an issue :) Sanjay Edited February 5, 2020 by StarFyre
PaganMegan
This week begins the long process of adding stuff on. I think the first step is going to be Brinewind, it's the addon we are happiest with.
Popular Post ksbsnowowl
The only new previews from tonight's Reaper Live. Both are only about 90% finished, so there will still be minor alterations. 13

Did they happen to mention if "Nessie" will be removable from the rocks? I imagine some folks might like to mount the beast on a flight stand so that it looks like it's swimming...
Chris Palmer
These were posted a couple hours ago on the Bones 5 Facebook page. While I’m pretty sure the Beastmen and Demons have been posted here before, I think this is the first time I’ve seen the campground stuff posted with a price... I could be wrong.. 7
